Hey everyone. I hope you had a fun festival. (´｡• ω •｡`)

I saw some people lose their bracelets during that time, and it makes me really worried about other Moonblessed. Do you have someone you can contact if it gets... bad? I'm pretty lucky in that regard, but I don't know if everyone else is. And some people are young, which makes me even more worried about what might happen. Nobody chose to be here. So you shouldn't have to be put in a position where you feel that desperate, alone, and in pain.

And also, it's only happened twice that I've seen for folks, but... some people turn into full animals. What about people who are jellyfish? Will they just transform, alone, and die? I should talk to the researchers about this. It's pretty messed up.

I guess what I'm trying to say is be safe. It feels really shameful when it's happening, but it's not your fault. I'm an older guy and I've been through a lot and I don't want others to have to do it, too.

That’s worrying for me. My Moonblessing does seem to be of the jellyfish type. I’d be scared if I became one fully...

I just thought about it when I was hugging a jellyfish friend. Maybe there's some kind of thing on the tech we're given that can signal if we're in danger because of a transformation? I'd really hope they have something in place...

I can certainly see the concern; it's good of you to remind others to have plans in place.
I'd offered the opportunity to check in on others if they didn't have anyone they were comfortable with, as well, on my last post.
Just for the peace of mind if nothing else. Someone to message and alert others if they don't hear back from you during the cycle, so we all know to be on the lookout.

If we don't keep an eye out for one another here, who will?

( Well. Who knows who would have or what they would have done? It's something she only really thought about after the fact. It was outside the cycles they know of and hadn't had the chance to prepare. Everyone was scattered. )

That's because I'm fortunate to have Snake and you. I'll never have to worry about something happening to me.

But not everyone else may be so lucky. They might not make connections easy, or... I mean, I'm shy and have people problems at times, but like some of those people on the, uh, dating post or whatever? They could really get into trouble.

But before the festival stuff where all the moons were out, people seemed to change for a few days and then go back to normal. My partner turned into a wolf-snake... thing for a few days early in the month. And I am an Iris moonphase person, so later in the month I had rabbit parts and my personality got more, uh... friendly, later on. But only temporary.

Like you're embarrassed by what's going on with you. How you feel and behave.

Part of the problem is whether we'll want to contact anyone when the moonblessing hits. I don't know about others that change with the Cordis moon, but when it hit this time I felt.... extremely overconfident.

I don't actually know anything about Cordis! Now I do. Or a little bit. Maybe a two-way check-in system with a friend. Like someone you know with a different phase that could be like, hey, how are you doing, when you're in the thrall of it.

I've been lucky so far, changing with the moon was alarming but it wasn't hit nearly as bad as some others had. And I was lucky enough to keep my bracelet on during the festival.

Most of the people I know change at the same time as me so I'm not sure who I would contact when my luck ran out.

I kept mine too. Some people just lost theirs or something happened. Just goes to show that anything can happen, even if you try your best.

Maybe you can get a contact outside your moonphase to have a check-in system with. Like if you're Iris, have a Sanguis or Cordis buddy.

I don't know if it'll stop it.

During the festival where all the moons appeared, Moonblessed - people who are "special" and from another world - were given a bracelet to contain them. Some folks lost theirs through whatever reasons and went... uh. Moonphase-y, but intense. More intense than I saw before, but I'm also a homebody and shy.

You know, even though I grew scales during whatever the last few days were, I have a hard time believing someone actually turned into a jellyfish because of the moon.

I've met people who grow the long, flowing tentacles. It's really beautiful, actually. But the whole way? No, haven't heard of it.

But who knows? I've only been here for one go around of people changing. And... what if someone did? What if they can't tell their tale?

Suddenly I’m feeling like I got off a bit lucky by just ending up a bit furrier and a bit of an idiot during Cordis. I do have to wonder how helpless you can actually end up in a situation like this, though... I seem to remember running into someone who suddenly gained the power to manipulate ice, so I feel like it might be somewhat unlikely that someone would end up as a jellyfish dried out on the pavement.

I don't really know anything about Cordis. Could you tell me about it? One person said they had cat ears.

That's good. I really hope they'd be protected in some way. My lady friend, a fellow Iris, had electricity coming off her when she was at her worst. It was kinda scary.

I confess to being a little concerned. Everything I've seen about these... moon cycles, suggests they are rather sexually charged.

Is this... inevitable?

I've only been through one personally, but seen other people go through things. The experience seems to range - some people get really, uh, charged up and hungry. But it can be solved with something as easy as a handhold or hug.

I just don't like it. Being touch starved is challenging for a social being like a human, but this is something else.

May I ask a potentially silly question?

What exactly is it that happens? I saw people get violent, and change with animal features, however, no one will quite tell me all of the details. I feel there is more to it than that, and based on what you are saying there definitely is. Since I was given a valuable quest item, I did not experience anything particular during the festival, so my first hand information is lacking.

No question is silly! Wanting to know is a good thing and you should never feel bad for asking.

I've only had it happen to myself once so far, and it was like... I woke up and I had ears and a tail. And I was a lot friendlier, touchier, more sociable. Cuddly, I guess.

It has to do with what moon you're "Blessed" by. I'm Iris, and my partner is Sanguis - he turns into a wolf-snake and gets... wound up. I guess is the best way to describe it.
