Oh, hi Persephone. I can help now that I'm just about done putting together my-

[ The faint typing on her end stops. ]

Actually, our dilemmas might be the solution to each other!

[ Oh thank...uh, Zeus? No, thanking him would be a mistake as his ego is plenty bloated. Thank someone that someone she would be comfortable with saw this and responded. ]

I'm sorry but putting together your what?

[ She is so very glad Persephone asked. ]

My research notes on energy chips. They have incredible potential, within the city, and is one of the focal points our Chroma goes towards. It's a great start in discovering what I can about this planet's technology and magic.

[ Her typing speeds up as she talks to do the finishing touches. ]

It's so exciting! Except the burning out and becoming Chroma starved. That's, not good...

[ To be honest, Persephone isn't really all that sure what she means by, well, any of that. Technology just isn't that common back in the mortal realm, even within the household of a goddess. ]

Oh.

[ A pause. ]

Um, do you need me to come to you? I haven't used up so much that I'm starved. [ Though she's getting pretty close to that point. ]

[ There's a few seconds of silence. Then the sound of clanking metal and a small series of pops heralds Entrapta's voice growing until she's back to her device. ]

That may not be best. My baking bot's not fully integrated with the energy chip I have. Still working on that.

[ She sighs. ]

That's part of my quandary. I'm famished due to the blue moon's phase even though I ate recently.

Oh, well, in that case, I guess just find the apartment with vines growing out the front door?

I also have plenty of baked goods to share. I did a little stress baking during Sanguis.

Ohh, this fits after all!

[ The smallest sound of her gloves clapping together. ]

Vines and the smell of food, got it. I'll find you.

[ Navigating her way there isn't hard at all. She takes care to knock between the plants slowly creeping on the door.

And because being quiet isn't a thing with her: ] Persephone. It's me, Entrapta!

[ rip neighbors ]

[ She gives her comm a confused look but decides against asking what fits, she probably won't quite understand it anyway.

If she didn't hear the knock -- which let's face it, with all the plants sound is a little muffled within the apartment -- she certainly hears Entrapta yelling from the hallway. She quick rushes to the door and opens it before the Princess has a chance to make any more noise. ]

Hello. [ She offers a smile and holds the door open until Entrapta has entered. The room still looks like an apartment but there's greenery and flowers growing all over everything. Carpeting the floor, covering the walls, growing over furniture... It's a bit of a mess. The smell in the apartment is a mixture of flowers, grass, and baked goods. ]

Um, uh, make yourself comfortable?

[ A happy wave of hand and fingers, both her own hand and hair, from a smiling Entrapta. ]

Hello. Sorry, I forgot to to tell you that the blue moon's also-

[ Her eyes grow wide as she walks inside. ]

Ooh, wooow. I haven't seen this much foliage since the Whispering Woods,

[ She pokes the freshly grown over couch. At least she's assuming it's a couch going by general shape. ]

and I wasn't even there in person. Is this a product of your abilities? Probably, but asking just to confirm!

[ It doesn't take Persephone long to realize something is a little different about Entrapta. She gets that same desire to be closer like she had during their first meeting, though this time she's certain there are none of those wreaths around.

She blinks, realizing she'd been staring. ]

Oh, um, yes. I can control plant growth or make it spring up out of nowhere. [ She closes the door though remains rooted to the spot. ]

You mentioned the blue moon?

Oh that is very fascinating. I wish I was here to see it. [ Her lining up similarities to another Princess's abilities gets cut short when she turns to answer her question. ] Yes, that.

[ Of all the things to forget to mention. ]

I've learned that my blessing is Cordis, which is why I didn't plan to leave my designated unit unless a priority arose. [ Her hair gestures while her clasped hands motion at Persephone. ] Two of the lunar influences are, uh, affecting me.

[ Technical terminology's easier, but seeing Persephone is tugging at her self-indulgence. ]

Mainly increased appetite, which you know, and ...releasing some type of intangible compound that seems to encourage moonlacing. [ She feels awkward about it, but coming out to see her friend in spite of all that is something? ] And you needed that. Like exactly.

[ How can she run out of words when she needs them the most? ]

I can show you when I'm not so tapped out.

[ As Entrapta explains the Cordis blessings Persephone can feel her face heat up a little. So that was why she felt this pull. ] Um, well, you've come to the right place for both?

[ She lets out a nervous little laugh as she finally makes a move for kitchen despite that desire to go straight to the other woman. ]

So I made some cereal treats, baklava, cinnamon rolls, and brownies. I was going to make some tarts but realized I'd need to go out for fruits and didn't feel much leaving during the red moon. [ Sure, she could have grown her own fruits but she didn't want to. ]

[ Her hair's eager to touch and brush against the flowers, vines and leaves as she follows Persephone. ]

Ooh, that does smell really good!

[ Starving, her hair holds on to Persephone's shoulders as she peeks over them. All out of habit since others are usually taller. The aroma mixed with the contact is a cure for the full moon's impact.

That and she does like being around Persephone. ]

Especially the cereal treats. I have to admit I am really partial to sweets. [ The rush to eat and moonlace is costing her because Entrapta remembers one vital detail. ] Um. Are you familiar with tiny food?

[ Persephone doesn't seem to mind the touch or being used for a bit of leverage to get a better look at things, though she isn't much taller. Once in the kitchen, she begins uncovering all the treats she made so Entrapta can get a look at them. ]

Tiny food? [ She gives her a curious look. ] Like, smaller versions of normal food?

[ Purple fingers tap her shoulders animatedly. ]

Exactly! It comes out so cute and goes great with a fizzy drink. Also, it's the only type I eat or make. [ So there's that. But she doesn't slow down at all when her hair snatches up a treat. ] Ohh, your composition is so neat and looks delicious!

[ Just small enough to qualify. She gently breaks it in two so a tendril can offer her host half. ]

I always wanted to try sharing.

[ The cinnamon buns are fairly large but some of the other treats are cut small enough that they could almost be bite-sized.

Persephone listens, nodding thoughtfully as Entrapta goes on about these tiny treats she enjoys. ] Maybe next time I bake I can give it a try. to make some tiny food, that is!

[ She takes the offered half with a smile and pops it in her mouth. While she enjoys baking she doesn't usually eat as much of what she makes, she's much happier to give it to other people. ]

[ Offering accepted (even though it is Persephone's assortment) and food preference not dismissed. Good things! The tips of her hair give the smallest claps as she gives a wide grin. ]

Wonderful. I can offer assistance if you feel stumped, but I'd looove to see what creations you come up with!

[ The plants offer a serene atmosphere unlike the Fright Zone and Beast Island, the food smells so good and the moon might play factor too. She'll have to study that when the phase ends.

Entrapta holds her hand out to her hostess. ]

You've been real nice to me since we got here. Thank you.

Do they need special molds or could I make normal-sized foods and simply cut them down to a smaller size? [ She asks as she chews on the treat.

She takes Entrapta's hand and smiles. ] Very few people deserve others being rude or mean to them, so I try to be nice to everyone when I first meet them.

Baked at a smaller size is fine. Molds are extra fun if you're feeling fancy! You can be as creative as you want. All you need is some light base metal and some heat.

[ Her hair whips out a small blowtorch, alight with blue fire that illuminates half her delighted face. ]

Then tadaaa!

[ An open flame and plants, probably not a good idea. But she really does want to give Persephone more inspiration for her cooking hobby. ]

Hmm, maybe I'll look for some molds next time I go shopping. I can't say I'm parti--

[ Her eyes go wide as the little blowtourch comes out. ] Oh wow. Where was that hiding?

And, erm, maybe that's not exactly safe in here.

[ Her eyes connect the dots from blasting hot jet flame to foliage, then to Persephone.

Safe. Yes, she's familiar with that word despite appearances. ]

Good observation.

[ Off it goes and her hair slowly tucks it in a back pocket of her overalls. ] Aheh. Scientists should always carry the essentials. [ Instead her hair grabs a couple of brownies to serve. ]

What's shopping like? I've heard of it, of course, but I've really never done it personally.

I suppose that makes sense. [ She's no scientist and doesn't have anything she can think of that she might need at any given moment. Except maybe a pencil and some paper, that's always good to have on hand. ]

It depends on the type of shopping your doing and if you're alone or with someone else. For example, if I'm going shopping for cooking or gardening supplies I'm usually on my own and just getting what I need and returning home. Maybe I'll stop and treat myself to some coffee or some other little treat but it's not a whole ordeal.

If you're going with friends, though, it can end up taking much longer because you might make stops you wouldn't otherwise. Eros took me shopping for clothes not long after I arrived in Olympus and we spent several hours running around to all the stores with me trying on a whoooooole bunch of outfits. It was kind of fun.
