hello,,
everyone
I was wondering if it was acceptable to use this as a forum to ask if anyone is interested in
living with a roommate of some sort
I am quite unused to living alone, so if anyone feels similarly and wishes to share an apartment if that is not a strange thing to ask please feel free to contact me thank you
[ Hanyuu spends about two hours drafting up this post, half because she's still learning how to use the network, half because....oh jeez oh gosh this is a big thing to ask and she's not sure she should go through with it. But if someone kind does respond it could solve two of her problems in one go. Aaaah. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa---
ah. she forgot her name. can she edit posts? can she reply to her own posts? can people see her name already? all questions that she's now asking herself as she flips through the settings and contemplates deleting this post entirely. wah wah wahhhh. ]

I feel much the same. I’ve been living with a roommate for the past couple years in my own world, and it’s lonely to have my room empty now.
I’m hesitant to agree at first go, but if you don’t receive any superior offers, perhaps we could meet.
Yours,
Serge Marais
[ all this, without knowing she’s a girl… the impropriety. ]

it's quite alright, I would like to meet in person before moving in with someone, in general
You cannot know what someone is like just through their writing
no subject
May I ask how old you are?
no subject
I have lost track of the exact number, truthfully, but I am quite old
if you were to see me on the street, perhaps, I would appear to be around 29, though
no subject
Are you implying you’re immortal?
no subject
of a sort, but I would not use that exact word myself
I apologize, I realize it can be very disconcerting to hear
but I felt this was not an appropriate situation to skirt around the truth in

No wonder you’re looking for someone to live with. It must be horribly lonely, if you’ve been living with others that long.
[ so this person looks about thirty, but has actually lived much longer. countlessly longer, likely more than serge can even guess.
he wonders what kind of person they might be. ]
no subject
Hanyuu stares at that sentence. "You must be horribly lonely." ]
a bit lonely, yes
[ "a bit" ]
no subject
Well, fret not! Even if we don’t find a roommate in one another, I’d be happy to be your friend. I know it’s not the same, but…
no subject
I do appreciate the thought
thank you
:)
[ is that how you do a smiling face??? did she do it?? ]
no subject
You are welcome. :)
May I at least ask your name?

I would not say boring, but it is a bit lonely for me
I have lived with two people for many years, so to suddenly wake up in a house alone is
unappealing
no subject
I kinda liked the freedom at first but it really is getting to me lately

Name's Amanda.

I understand the apprehension of being a stranger's roommate, though
perhaps I should have offered more information about myself ]

[ .....hmmm. what does she say? ]
I am quite good at domestic work
cleaning, and such
[ nailed it ]

It's probably not what you're looking for, but I run a hotel in the groves.
Feel free to stay a night or two if you're feeling lonely.
The staff will take care of you.
no subject
oh! that is a very kind offer, thank you
I am looking for a long-term living arrangement I think but I appreciate your generosity
no subject
But you seemed lonely, so I thought I could ease your troubles.
Feel free to stop by anytime. My wife loves to entertain.
( Help his wife, Hanyuu. She needs more friends. )
no subject
you are very thoughtful to offer such a thing to a complete stranger
might I ask your name?
no subject
Kiritsugu Emiya.
no subject
my pleasure. I am Hanyuu.
text; un: ironmaiden
If I may inquire, are you still searching for a roommate?
I so happen to find myself with a spare room.
( It's weird, Hanyuu. She doesn't like it. )
Would you like to meet?
( If nothing else, to feel each other out. )
no subject
stay calm, stay calm ]
I am still looking yes
it has been a difficult search, though I imagine it is because I do not know many people
if you would like to meet I would be open to it yes
what is your name, miss?
[ she's assuming it's either a lady, or someone who likes torture implements. or both. if it's either of the latter this might not work out. ]
no subject
Integra Hellsing.
Might I ask yours?
Would you care for tea?
no subject
But oh...tea. she perks up. ]
I am Hanyuu
It is nice to meet you
Yes, that sounds like a splendid idea
Where would you like to meet up?
no subject
Likewise for me, as well.
There's a cafe in the second level.
I'll send you the location.
( A public location would be best, she thinks, considering how meek Hanyuu comes across in her text. If nothing else, she didn't want to overwhelm her. )
no subject
Thank you
It takes me a bit to find my way around these parts
would meeting in about a half hour be acceptable?
[ good call. She CAN just teleport away if she gets spooked, but any attempts at not spooking her in the first place is a good sign. ]
text → action;
Yes, that would be fine.
Please, don't hesitate to contact me if you find yourself lost.
( And whenever Hanyuu arrives, she'll be greeted to the sight of a tall, blonde woman, with a toned complexion (presumably of Indian descent,) wearing a black vest and long skirt. When Hanyuu enters, she looks up from the book she'd been reading, speaking up with a rather posh British accent. )
Are you Hanyuu?
no subject
That said, she's pretty short in person, but definitely looks like she's in her late 20s. Mom is shy. ]
Y-Yes, that is me. Integra?
[ a slight bow of the head. ]
no subject
It's not quite customary for her, but she meets Hanyuu's politeness in kind, bowing her head in return. )
It's a pleasure. ( She adds, gesturing toward the seat across from her: ) Please, feel free to order anything you like.
( She'll pay, it's fine. )

that is an incredibly kind offer
[ au-ing now occuring irl ]
I cannot help but feel I would be crossing some boundary living in someone's already lived-in house, though

We do have a dog, though, as a side note. Well, a polar bear dog, but she's cub-sized. And really friendly.
