This is a question I have yet to see asked on this network, though I only have the slightest hypothesis of why.

How have you viewed religion or faith from your home? Has it changed drastically before coming here, or since?

I have been thinking about this lately...

An entire country used a shithole religion as an excuse to drag me through the mud and try to kill me and my friends.

Can't say I'm a big fan.

Was it truly the gods who wanted you dead, or was it the humans under them? Was there a god at all?

Obviously it was a bunch of assholes acting in the name of their shit hole church. I made them look bad, so I had to go.

Well, they're all basically dead or in a dungeon somewhere by now, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

So if religion did not guide your beliefs, what did?

What beliefs? I believed I had to survive, so I did. Its pretty much as simple as that.

Religion is often used as guidance for humans. But... being human, it is just as natural that there would be those who'd use it to control others.

So you say you were driven by the desire to survive... would you say you had faith in that?

Who knows? I sure wasn't about to give anyone the satisfaction of watching me just roll over.
