Hello everyone, my name is Dr. Daniel Dickens. (You're welcome to call me "Danny" though, if you'd like!)

I wanted to announce that starting this month, I will be working with the Second Nature Clinic as it's resident psychiatrist. For those who don't know what that means, my specialty is in providing psychological counseling and therapy for anyone struggling here mentally or emotionally. Even if you do not need therapy and would simply like a confidential listening ear with someone here, I'm happy to help.

I also have some experience in other fields of medical expertise, so if you have any questions about that, I'll do my best to answer and see if there's something else I can help you with here. Aside from your basic first aid, surgery, and the like, I even have some skill in optometry--but, I'm sure you are all taking good care of your eyes here, so that will hopefully not be necessary.

Though, ah... despite advertising myself now, perhaps it might be best to wait until a few days from now to schedule a visit, on account of certain factors at the moment.

Which reminds me... I apologize if this is a question that has already been asked before, but in regards to when some cycles here suddenly gives a person wings... can you actually fly with them, or are they merely for decoration, so to speak? I'm assuming the latter, given how difficult it may be depending on size to use them to support oneself in the air, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

To be honest, I doubt it? But I really like what I do and studying as much as I can in order to become the best doctor I can be.

Of course. Regardless of being anonymous or not, doctor-patient confidentiality is a very important rule for all doctors to follow with their clients. Anything you choose to say or do will always stay between the two of us, unless you give very explicit permission to share anything with anyone else.

Well, far be it from me to tell you that that sort of trait isn't valued; I've always respected those who dedicate themselves so thoroughly to what they do.

I used to work quite extensively in research myself; it's not anything I've taken up here just yet, though I've considered.

You have a very impressive resume, Dr. Dickens. It's good to know we have doctors for almost every need, including mental and psychological health.

Well, it's not just through conversation: depending on the person, some people may require medication. Either that, or I can help teach someone therapy techniques to work through their anxieties, such as breathing exercises, as an example. Does that make sense?

Yes, it's strange at first but once you get used to it it's nice to not feel so tethered.

As you can imagine, they're not very strong. Then again, that was the first and only time I had them, so I don't have a lot of practice using them yet.

I could say that I understand, but naturellement, even someone with a genius intellect like myself would struggle with a concept from another world. Perhaps the best understanding is to experience it directly? You've certainly intrigued me, as few things can!
