I know this sounds like an odd question but I can't think of any better way to come up with an answer.

Say that you've just basically returned from the dead. Not a zombie or anything but well kind of but not really!

What should you give your friends as an apology gift? Flowers? Something more extravagant?

Why wouldn't I need to apologize? Isn't kind of, well, rude to cause them grief only for me to come back to life like it's some kind of prank?

Since I doubt you had a say in either dying or coming back, there isn't really a reason for it.

They got hurt because of it, even if it isn't directly my fault. And you usually apologize when you hurt people.

It won't change anything, but I suppose if it makes you feel better, it won't hurt anything, either.
