I know this sounds like an odd question but I can't think of any better way to come up with an answer.

Say that you've just basically returned from the dead. Not a zombie or anything but well kind of but not really!

What should you give your friends as an apology gift? Flowers? Something more extravagant?

Now that I type it, it sounds kind of morbid! Sorry!

There's nothing to apologize for. Believe me, I'm used to "morbid". I realize that we're strangers but should you find you have need of someone to talk to about this or similar things, if I can help you're welcome to call on me personally.

And it makes sense! I think everyone wants to feel like they're understood.
