[ She's an exception to his 2D>3D rules. Though to be fair, she's got green hair and big moe red eyes and superpowers and wears revealing clothing and twin tails so it's not really that big of a departure... ]

[ And sure enough she shows up at the given address about 30 minutes later. She ended up getting regular popcorn and zebra popcorn and a couple different flavors of soda and some red hots. This is her first time really getting to just watch a movie with a friend besides Mercury or her boyfriends, okay? She got excited and got more than necessary. Which is why her knock sounds a little weird because the bag is clunking against the door while she does it.. ]

[The knock at his door, unusual sounding as it may be, isn't what catches Mafuyu off guard - he knows Emerald is coming over, so there's really no one else it could be. What does make him falter is the sight that greets him upon opening the door, and before even saying hello, he reaches out to try to take one of the bags she's carrying.

Of course, Kedama's dashing down the hall in a matter of seconds, but Mafuyu doesn't have the mind to pick him up the way he usually would.]

I've never done this before, I didn't know what to get. You'll have lots of leftovers.

[ If she brings this home, her bf is going to scold her for buying too much junk food in his mom-voice. Once Mafuyu somehow ends up with.. most of the bags and Emerald has maybe one (how did that happen?) she sits down on the floor where she is so the dog can smell her. Legit on the floor, like, she doesn't care. She sits on the floor a lot. ]

You're leaving them all with me?

[He's fine carrying most of the bags in, but glances down at them precariously as he carries them into the living room. This is an awful lot for two people... So he's probably going to be left with a lot of it if Emerald doesn't take any.

Still, everything looks good, so Mafuyu is hardly upset. And once he sets the bags down and turns back to find Emerald sitting on the floor with Kedama, he only stares for a moment before sitting on the floor with them. It doesn't strike him as weird, either - sitting on the floor is pretty common for him.]

You're good with animals... Most people just pet him right away. [It's not like Kedama ever has any qualms, since he loves people!]

I'll get in trouble if I bring home this much junk food.

[ At least she knows she's made a ridiculous purchase. Once the dog seems comfortable enough and gives her permission, she moves her hand to his side to give him a test-pat if he lets her. ]

I grew up on the streets. You either let dogs come to you or you risk getting bit, seemingly friendly or not. I could never take care of one but I know not to pick a fight.
