hey all

so like. i aint the type of guy to usually beat round the bush. theres some of you out there who know me, but a lot who dont. im sure i aint the only one who has experienced a loss here, though.

couple months back someone real important to me went back home, so ive not been doin the best. kinda why ive not been around a whole lot other than here or there, actually. im okay, just...its hard, you know? we went through a lot, even before i showed up here. ive been living the same as i did before, just a little emptier. its gotten easier now that its been a while, but

well vday is comin up. we were together and all, so...kinda brings it all back right as i was starting to feel okay again. so this might be a weird request, but like

if you, i dunno, want to get a message on that day you can leave me your contact info here and ill make sure to send you somethin. doesnt matter if we know each other or not, itll just be simple anyway.

if i can spend the whole day saying nice things about other people then itll be easier to not think about other things if you feel me. sorry if this seems weird btw i just figured itd be worth a shot

Of course! It's hard to deal with loss, but it's even harder alone, so I think it's important to support the people around us whether we know them well or not.

oh sorry, i mean valentine's day
usually its never really that much of a big deal for me...i mean ive given a friend something on white day before but that was a long time ago

Oh, like Saint Valentine's? I guess Vday is a lot easier to write, isn't it.
I don't have any plans, though!
I'm sorry I keep asking questions, but... What's White Day? [Something that didn't exist until 1978 so Tanjiro has no idea, RIP.]

white day is sort of like reverse vday
its a day when guys give girls chocolate and gifts to sort of like...pay them back for what they gave you on vday

Wait, so only girls are supposed to give out chocolates on Valentine's??
I didn't realize there were rules...

sayin there are rules is prolly a bit of a stretch
but USUALLY girls are givin chocolates to guys they like on valentine's, arent they?
or yaknow, to girls too

I mean I haven't really paid a whole lot of attention.
I'd help make chocolates for the occasion but it was mostly just within my family, so I guess my situation is a little weird.
Modern living is so much more complicated...

its really up to you what you wanna do at the end of the day
most people who arent in a relationship dont really bother, but there are others who like to give friends stuff too
this is actually the first time ive given anyone anything in a long time

But it's okay to give people things outside of a relationship, right?
That doesn't make it strange or put any sort of pressure on anyone, does it?

not really, at least i dont think so? tho i might just be an odd one out
but i think if you tell em up front theyre just friendship chocolates or whatever else you give them then its fine
