hey all
so like. i aint the type of guy to usually beat round the bush. theres some of you out there who know me, but a lot who dont. im sure i aint the only one who has experienced a loss here, though.
couple months back someone real important to me went back home, so ive not been doin the best. kinda why ive not been around a whole lot other than here or there, actually. im okay, just...its hard, you know? we went through a lot, even before i showed up here. ive been living the same as i did before, just a little emptier. its gotten easier now that its been a while, but
well vday is comin up. we were together and all, so...kinda brings it all back right as i was starting to feel okay again. so this might be a weird request, but like
if you, i dunno, want to get a message on that day you can leave me your contact info here and ill make sure to send you somethin. doesnt matter if we know each other or not, itll just be simple anyway.
if i can spend the whole day saying nice things about other people then itll be easier to not think about other things if you feel me. sorry if this seems weird btw i just figured itd be worth a shot

[He can't exactly argue with Iida, there. He looks briefly at Iida's hand on him but he doesn't quite wave him off, his shoulders dropping a little as he exhales.]

It's- it's not loss, though. I mean sure he ain't here, but he's still...okay, out there somewhere. Right? If he could be after Duplicity, then he had to have gone back home.

We talked about this. If one of us ever just...up and disappeared again. I know he wouldn't want me to be torn up about it.

Not loss in the sense that he's deceased, but he's still lost to you, and that warrants a period of grievance. I'm certainly not one to harp, as I handled the loss of my brother's heroic ability very poorly, but you have to be willing to accept it for what it is in order to process it. He wouldn't want you to be torn up about it, but I also doubt he'd have wanted you to bottle and ignore your feelings about it.
