(Sometimes in order to get a better state of mind, a change of scenery is necessary. Daenerys has found a larger home for herself and Drogon. The ceilings are high enough for the little dragon to fly short, safe distances. He lets out a series of happy sounds as he explores his new domain.)

Well I have his approval. (Daenerys has often been expressive with her wardrobe and that hasn't changed. Her clothing is more modern by far. Pants are easier to move about in and, with a belt, her sword and dagger are tucked close by.)

I am hosting a house warming party for any and all interested. Alcohol is welcome, so no one underage, please.

(As cute as she finds children, she must be a proper mother about this.)

And if we haven't spoken, that is of no consequence. As long as you aren't intent on ruining things, I will be happy to see you.

(She ends the transmission with her address, a date - on the weekend - and a time.)

Do you prefer wine or liquor? [ Well, she might as well show up. The woman had been nothing but warm to her, after all, even when they were butting heads about style of rule or anything like that.

Granted, for Re-L, she liked to talk about these things for the sake of discourse, not to tell people how to live, or anything of that sort. ]

Wine is my preference, but if you enjoy liquor more, I won't argue with my guest. (Daenerys brightens at the sight of Re-L. She admires her strength. Even if they butt heads, so what? It isn't the end of the world.)

But it's your house warming. [ It's important to please the person opening up their home to you, as well. And, well.. Re-L would happily shell out for a nice bottle of wine that she might get to sip from as well.

I'm fine. I brought my Entourage here with a purchase from that wares shop... [ Here, Re-L turns the device to show all seven feet of Iggy humming away and cooking some sort of meal for her, and then back to herself. ] So all my cooking woes have at least gone away.

An occasion I am happy to share with all of my friends and allies to be. (She will have a wide array of foods, music - street performers can be quite talented and she will give them a better audience this way.)

Yes, well, I still like to bring a gift to thank the host. [ Or at least that's what she'd been taught to do, and intended to continue with even though she was no longer in Romdeau Dome.

There's a pause as Re-L calculates it versus herself, for a moment. ]

Well, I'm a little over six feet with my heels, and he is still a head taller than me even in heels, so I would say about seven feet or so. Entourages are made that way to be imposing, though.

Since they are constant companions and guards.

I will cherish whatever you bring. (Gifts mean even more to her now than they did in Westeros. She uses them to build a nice home - a place of belonging. She no longer desires a throne.)

Yes, you are very tall yourself. I noticed when we danced. (Daenerys grins.) He looks like a good companion and I certainly wouldn't cross him.

Then I'll have to put some good thought in to it. [ Look, no one liked to bring a lame gift, and she and Dany had had a pretty good time of it the few times they had spoken, even when disagreeing. Of all things, Re-L desires to collect good, reliable, female friends. ]

I was also in taller heels than usual at that ball. But, yes. Most people in Romdeau were at least my height if not taller. [ Genetic engineering had a way with that, didn't it? ]

Iggy is gentle, even though he's large. If he wasn't I don't think I'd have any hair left on my head.

(The thought is what counts the most in this case. Daenerys isn't particularly materialistic. Oh she does like clothes, but she is accustomed to using them to make points and/or blend in with different cultures/societies. If someone thinks about her, no matter the gift, it makes her happy.)

Your people would tower over mine! The tallest of men wouldn't be able to match you in heels.

(She blinks.) Why would you be lacking hair?

Well, to be fair, everyone in Romdeau was engineered to be that way... I suppose grandfather preferred his citizens be tall. [ It's weird, Dany, it's 100% weird. Either way she gives a bit of a good natured chuff of a laugh at the question. ]

Iggy does my hair in the mornings. If he weren't gentle I'd for sure be lacking my hair.

Thankfully it's the opposite.
