Well I have his approval. (Daenerys has often been expressive with her wardrobe and that hasn't changed. Her clothing is more modern by far. Pants are easier to move about in and, with a belt, her sword and dagger are tucked close by.)

They were the best people I ever knew. Ser Barristan was attacked on the streets by cowards looking to hurt me; Ser Jorah was cut down defending me from White Walkers and Missandei was captured by my enemy and beheaded before my eyes. None of them deserved it.

If you're low in the system, nothing's gonna get you up. Fairytales are for peasants who wish to become kings.

Becoming king or queen doesn't make you defeat the system. It just makes you part of it.
