[video is of a small white rabbit and the background is that of a café. she gives friendly wave with her free hand.]
Yoohoo, it's Haru. Your local white rabbit who isn't from here and who is, yes, an actual rabbit! I know that confuses a lot of you human and other different animal types who've never met a talking rabbit before.
Kinda wanted to get that out of the way...
Anyway, I want a job to keep me busy while I'm stuck here and feeling useless while everyone else is going through changes and eating octopuses which is a bit creepy. Anyone here run a flower shop or a local garden? I ran the gardening club at my school.
I know this is pretty boring and you guys get a lot of these kinds of questions, but I'm also pretty bored so we're even.

[Sure he's familiar with most of her friends in Lunatia but it's the question he needs to ask to connect the dots toward them being from similar or the same world.]
You could try asking around the Greatmoon Groves, they do some markets and farming.
But if you're that hard up for something to do you could probably start your own set up easily enough.

anyway.]
Multi-species. We're a world of all sorts of herbivores and carnivores, land and sea. I know the animals a lot of people here are familiar with don't walk and talk like us, though. Kind of like what I've seen here.
And thanks! I'll check out the Groves. I'm not sure I want to set up shop just yet until I get to know the plants here a bit better. It was different back home because the gardening club kind of fell into my lap and I got stuck with its upkeep. Not that it was a problem, there's a reason why I kept with it while everyone else dropped out.

I've definitely met a few people from a world like that.
Since the Prismals are fairly fond of the moonblessed you won't have much trouble getting involved if you spot something that interests you. Though most things here seem to be a mix of familiar and unfamiliar so you'd likely be able to get by fine on your own if you so desired.

I'll probably go around and see where I feel fits me best. There's a part of me that wants to take classes here, honestly, but only because I think I'm too used to being a student right now. But going nose-first into the working world could be good for a girl like me!

If you wanted to be particularly ambitious you could likely do both, get some experience in the working world while getting an education.
[Not that he'd know anything about that since despite having successfully faked ownership of many degrees, legally he doesn't even have a genuine high school diploma.
Then again Ocelot didn't even have a real birth certificate or name, so...]no subject
And I guess I could do that. I know universities do work study programs a lot of the time, and I sort of did that with the gardening club back in highschool. That's a good idea, actually. Why should I put my education on hold?
Even though this world is way different where I'm from so if I do get to go back home it might be a waste of time...hm.

Some people have been coming up on being stuck here for a full year, so even if it ends up a waste of time chances are you've got time to waste. Doing and learning about things you enjoy is probably more productive than some things.

[she DOES like Juno and has no ill feelings towards her now that everything's settled between them regarding Legosi, but she definitely knows how mean Juno can be when things don't go her way...
but, she is a young and pretty wolf. and she is nice.]
And the people who aren't stuck here for that long, how do they go back? Is it as random as some people make it out to be? Like, one minute you're here, the next you're not?
no subject
Yes, it's fairly random.
Sometimes their bodies crystallize and sometimes they just disappear. Both groups who returned, either by de-crystallizing or reappearing on Iris seem to say they returned home.
The trouble with those who end up crystallizing is that people will also crystallize if they die here as well.
no subject
But even when you do leave and go back home, there's still a chance you can be brought back here?
[she's not really going to ask much about being crystalized when dying though, because she's just going to assume like at home, death is just permanent and a fixture and being crystalized is just a weird thing that happens on this planet.]

Though it does somewhat guarantee predation in the sense of her home world being particularly unlikely]There is, which is certainly part of the frustration of being stuck here.

It's not like I knew where I'd wind up each and every day back home anyway.

I just accept that I can be eaten any day and live my life.

A world with a variety of carnivores and no source of meat that isn't functionally another person... It's certainly going to have difficulties.
Though I imagine it also makes the legal and political fields fascinating.
