There is a beautiful cathedral where I am from. In mine visitation here within the town proper, I do not recall seeing something quite similar to it.

Is there a church, confessional, or a place of worship here?

If not, how do the rest of you revere your patron deities and cleanse your souls?

Something like that, yes.

Perne's head is rattling around with possibilities, though she supposes the closest thing she might have to 'scientist' is a member of the Scholasticate, which she isn't even wholly certain is an accurate assessment to make.]

Are there other subjects in which you find yourself with need of concrete evidence to apply belief to? Aside from religious theories, that is.

Yes. Specifically, in regards to medicine.

[There are some people who will allow their beliefs that simply praying will cure them of illness rather than taking medication that is known to work. And those types tend to annoy him quite a bit.]

Like a cleric then? Something akin to? Well, rather. I suppose a clinician. A cleric would be too close to religious connections for you, I assume. I have not know too many doctors where I come from, but I am remotely familiar with clinics run.

[If only because there seems to be some demand for botanical knowledge with said clinics.]

A clinician is the most apt description. As such, I would prefer not to allow religious beliefs potentially prevent someone from seeking treatment that has been proven to work because they think their God would oppose such a thing, or otherwise similar issues I'm aware of in that regard.

I find wisdom in that concept. I would like to think some have the sense not to permit their religious beliefs to otherwise hinder any assistance they might seek, even from what they may consider more scientific outlets.

I am not certain of the traditions of mine people, but I do not think the Twelve reject the use of healers or conjury. It would seem silly to put ourselves at risk because we believe the gods will be displeased with us otherwise.
