There is a beautiful cathedral where I am from. In mine visitation here within the town proper, I do not recall seeing something quite similar to it.

Is there a church, confessional, or a place of worship here?

If not, how do the rest of you revere your patron deities and cleanse your souls?

[Maybe by 'season,' Konoha literally means a season, not a moon at all. At least, that is how it sounds when she continues. Considering there are no seasons in Ishgard, Perne has never really experienced spring or summer or autumn. Ishgard is an ever infinite winter.

I... was not aware such a thing could happen. In mine homeland, there are stories that tell of the relationships betwixt deities. Siblings and such things. I have heard of them being paramours. I never considered that marriage could be an option.

Why would a deity ever have need to be married?

Of course they can. I never considered gods would be interested in marriage. That sounds like a mortal concept.

Mortals can have children out of wedlock. Why would not gods be able to do the same thing?

'Correct' children? Are you trying to tell me that your deities believe a child born out of wedlock is considered 'incorrect'?

Using words like 'correct' or 'incorrect' makes it sound like there is something wrong with the child. A child born in or out of wedlock is not the one who ought to be judged with such terms.

Ideally, anyroad. Mine people are unkind to those born out of wedlock. Parentage should be no reason treat someone poorly.

[To be fair, the said parents in such situations probably shouldn't be terribly judged either. At least that's the right thing to say. Perne... isn't wholly certain she can lack that judgement. She is still very, very Ishgardian.]

I meant more in relation to mine homeland, but you are not wrong. I have heard much the same thing. If it should help any, I have no interest in having children. Mine cousin has four and I think she has had enough children for us both.

I am quite pleased to have the other freedoms, however.

I should think everyone has a different perspective on what 'freedom' consists of. Regardless of whatever that may be, I believe everyone deserves to experience freedom.
