My names America-- well, that's one of my names, I guess! Some of you who have met me and some of my other colleagues may know us by different names, but I'm here to clear some things up for ya! Take a second and look at what I have to say. I drew a kick ass lit AF graph for you guys to follow if you get confused! _{[ actually the graph is more confusing to look at.. ]}

Hahaha! So, yep, I learned how to draw when I spent a lot of time in New York, but hopefully you can see everyone here. I tried to draw him as accurately as possible!! So yeah. Some of them aren't here, but it felt weird leaving them left out when we used to be divided up into these groups long ago.

Anyway, moving on.. you may have met me as Alfred, but my real name is America, or the United States! We're sort of, hmm.. spirits of our representative country? Basically, history is our lives-- we're very connected to our culture and citizens. We've been through it all from beginning to present, so that kind of means.. we're a little bit different than average humans! We can't really die-- kind of-- and we don't really have to eat to survive, we're supes-dupes strong, but we feel pain. Oh my god, we feel a lot of pain. It hurts sometimes! But we help aid our country back home. It's a lot of hard work, but it's a really rewarding job even if we're sometimes forced to do things our bosses say. We age differently, too.. I'm actually..

242.. even older than that. Also, the whole birthing thingy you guys have? Yeah, it doesn't really happen! We just kind of appear out of nowhere in case you were curious about that. So, I celebrate my birthday on July 4th since it's important to me! That's coming up soon! Start thinking about presents for me, hahaha! _{Fuck, my existence is weird.}

See, you're correct in that regard. He would have contacted us all to decide on the best course of action regarding our identities and letting others know. It is admirable that you wish to be an inspiration, but you cannot do it alone. Any leader knows when to delegate responsibilities. You're setting yourself up to burn out by trying to do it all.

I'm really strong! And I took care of myself a great deal even as a kid.. before you and England started fighting over me. That's what I remember, at least. So.. I don't really get burned out like maybe other nations might by being independent.

Besides, I got where I am today in such a fraction of the time as everyone else.

If you're trying to give me advice, that's really thoughtful, but if you could just wait until I ask for it, that'd be awesome!

Is it really a fair comparison when the age of our youths was so vastly different in comparison? By the time you showed up, Europe was already well-established. We had an idea of how the world worked and how to manipulate it for growth and gain.

You had a steady groundwork, set upon a world that was booming with advances in technology and ideas. Of course, you grew up quickly. Of course, you grew up strong. I seem to recall that you were more than happy to seek out my advice back then.

[ Canada got his passive-aggressive shit-talking streak from his papa, clearly. One thing France is very comfortable with admitting is that America has more energy to argue for longer, even if France could hold the longer grudge and has the proof for it. Is it really worth it? God, he's been asking himself that a lot lately... help. ]

Honestly, America. You act like advice is a means of looking down upon someone and undermining them. I give advice because I actually care.

_{[ That last bit is what really throws him off, but it's obvious he's been listening attentively to what France is saying, low and behold. He hadn't expected France to react this personal about what he said because honestly, when doesn't he talk so carefree and without thinking? Something he said must have really gotten to him. ]}

Uh. Wow. I mean.. if you really.. really want to give advice, I guess that's okay? I hadn't expected someone to be so persistent about it. I just thought you liked telling me what to do.

I have to help Germany corral Europe, America. I am too old to divert my attention there and to ordering you around. You don't have to take advice, but I find that sometimes it's at least wise to consider where it's coming from.

[ Sometimes France has good advice. Sometimes it even comes from a good place. Sometimes he's just a stubborn asshole, too. At least he's in good company.

Corraling Europe meant dealing with Germany and Italy's romantic issues and occasionally doing the deed with Austria. Oh, and Rome? Rome's here somehow and HE'S NOT SURE HOW HE FEELS ABOUT THAT?

And now he has to explain that he's a country to all the people he knew in a different place that refer to him as Francis from France but that's fine. It's okay. Honestly, he's not mad, but he's a little tired ]

I mean, you do plenty of ordering around back home, don't you? Even when it's not asked for...
