Oh, you're not alone in thinking that! Surely a separate room makes much more sense? And yet something like that would likely be considered a luxury here.

But my, you must be experiencing quite the culture shock, even compared to other new arrivals. I take it things weren't quite so advanced where you come from?

A separate room would definitely be better. Though, I guess since it's not a pit it's not too terrible.

Things were not so bright and loud, indefinitely didn't have all of these fancy tools. But! It is rather exciting to see what innovation can bring!
