Some of you might recognize the young woman sitting in frame, though there are definitely some new features, namely the addition of a pair of golden dragon wings tucked to her back and just barely visible in frame, but also there's some matching scales growing alongside the back of her arm and hand whenever her hand pops into the frame to gesticulate. ]

Yep. Yep. She's in rare form today, for anyone who's never seen her worked up, which. Y'know. At this point of her stay is like. All but two people. There are about fifteen better ways she could have done this, but right now she's all up in these Sanguis-Dragon Day One feels and it's making her even more daring than usual. And also a little impatient. ]

You've been shopping for a new place to live with a friend from home, something for just the two of you! You've been looking for a few weeks. There are a LOT of really great places to live here in the city, especially here on level two, right? And YEAH, it's true you've only lived in one place and with one person for most of your stay. So of course it's going to take some time for you to adjust, but don't you think that you'd still know yourself well enough to know when you've found the right place and were ready to commit to signing a lease? But no matter how many times you tell them that, your friend just keeps asking if you're sure the whole time, and that's very SWEET, but it's like they think you don't know yourself well enough to be sure that you're sure that you know what you know!

[ Uh. She's getting pretty worked up, her eyes might be taking on a bit of a feral glint. Is this really about an apartm-- ]

So what's a NICE way to tell your friend that they're overthinking it too much, and they should just cosign the stupid lease with you already so you can get on with being happy in your new place together?!

she's just going to assume this girl is normally this aggressive and doesn't think anything of it. the dragon wings aren't even throwing her off, though normally where she's from wings are just special arms and not extra appendages.]

I see, I guess I can kind of relate because I'm in a similar situation. Why don't you just tell him all this yourself? Maybe he just isn't a confident person and needs some encouragement from you that this is something you really really want with him?

Being happy with someone takes work, anyway. I've seen some couples move way too fast and then things get pretty bloody.

No I'm being literal. [and actually going into less detail of what actually happens!!] Only specific kinds of relationships, though.

[Haru, wow. Amazingly enough this is actually calming her down, just having someone RELATE to her problems. It's kinda hard to stay angry and worked up when it feels like someone's actually HEARING you.

Gradually her expression is softening up a bit, and with it so is the surprise. (She's not that different from the prismals and it's probably rude to stare at her like this!)]

I... thank you. That actually makes me feel a lot better. Not that you're going through it too! But, I guess that someone actually gets it? For what it's worth I hope it works out for you two, too.

[She tries for a smile, rubbing at the back of her neck just a little sheepish for her behavior.]

It does? [With her free hand, she scratches behind her ear.] I hope it works out for us too, but I also hope you and your "friend" are able to sort something out.

Couple troubles are normal. It's when there aren't any issues that things can get bad. [again!!! it tends to go bloody!! when you aren't willing to admit there's something wrong, someone will likely fall victim to accidental predation.] Though for all I know, my own relationship could end badly, but then you probably wouldn't hear from me if it did.

I hope you talk to your "friend" about this one-on-one! You seem very nice. [when she's not yelling.] I'm Haru, by the way.

[She doesn't really want to admit it but she's pretty sure Haru's advice would have come in useful with regards to another relationship of hers, too. Pretending everything was fine in the tower had gotten her no where, though it HAD kept her in Gothel's good graces for as long as possible...

But this isn't about that, and she doesn't want to go down that path, so she won't.

It's troubling to think about something happening to this young.... woman...? Rabbit...? And more so when she imagines that she'd never even hear about it. Frowning softly, Rapunzel tries to shake that feeling of unease because. Y'know.

Except, something about that definitely doesn't sit right.]

It's nice to meet you, Haru. I'm Rapunzel. [There's a smile there, even if a bit awkward because of the follow up:] There's one thing I'm not sure I really understand, though. Why do you think it might end that badly? I mean... if you love someone, if someone loves you... they shouldn't want to hurt you, right? It almost sounds like it's... normal where you're from?

[A lesson she's had a hard time really digesting until she finally met other people, but she learned it!!]

[Haru hasn't exactly been locked in a tower for much of her life, to be fair. Sure she was cooped up in a boarding school, but even among her peers she learned to be very worldly very quickly.

But she would probably sympathize with the idea of being kept away and kept "safe"...another time, maybe.]

Rapunzel? Huh, neat name! Makes me think of a salad for some reason... [Bit of a mouthful but hey, she knows ~~people~~ animals with much more unique names.] And...I guess it isn't something humans are really used to, but where I'm from it's-- hmm, it's a bit complicated.

A herbivore loving a carnivore isn't common, or at least it's not supposed to be. But when it does happen, everyone kind of expects the worst to happen.
