Some of you might recognize the young woman sitting in frame, though there are definitely some new features, namely the addition of a pair of golden dragon wings tucked to her back and just barely visible in frame, but also there's some matching scales growing alongside the back of her arm and hand whenever her hand pops into the frame to gesticulate. ]

Yep. Yep. She's in rare form today, for anyone who's never seen her worked up, which. Y'know. At this point of her stay is like. All but two people. There are about fifteen better ways she could have done this, but right now she's all up in these Sanguis-Dragon Day One feels and it's making her even more daring than usual. And also a little impatient. ]

You've been shopping for a new place to live with a friend from home, something for just the two of you! You've been looking for a few weeks. There are a LOT of really great places to live here in the city, especially here on level two, right? And YEAH, it's true you've only lived in one place and with one person for most of your stay. So of course it's going to take some time for you to adjust, but don't you think that you'd still know yourself well enough to know when you've found the right place and were ready to commit to signing a lease? But no matter how many times you tell them that, your friend just keeps asking if you're sure the whole time, and that's very SWEET, but it's like they think you don't know yourself well enough to be sure that you're sure that you know what you know!

[ Uh. She's getting pretty worked up, her eyes might be taking on a bit of a feral glint. Is this really about an apartm-- ]

So what's a NICE way to tell your friend that they're overthinking it too much, and they should just cosign the stupid lease with you already so you can get on with being happy in your new place together?!

[THAT question stops her in her tracks. Maybe SHE'S being the dense one here? Maybe Eugene HAS changed his mind about them but just... doesn't know how to let her down easy? Maybe things are too different here?]

[Angela sighs, feeling a little guilty over seeing the other woman's reaction and tries to soften her expression.]

If I'm right, it's probably nothing against you. Some people just need their space, for whatever reason.

[To be fair, though, Angel does make a good point. Rapunzel was just too stuck and set in her idea to think about that.

It's a bad habit once she's set her sights on a specific goal or outcome, sometimes, to put on blinders.]

Maybe you are right. I spent so much time being on my own it's hard to imagine wanting to live apart from other people, especially ones that I care about, but... Maybe I'm just being inconsiderate?

[The part about being alone hits her in a way she didn't expect. While Angela herself did choose to live apart from her mother, on Mars, she did struggle with feelings of loneliness a lot regardless. She's silent, for a couple of seconds, giving the slightest frown as she tries to think of a more reassuring answer. This was a little new for her, when she was more used to being polite to clients and venting frustrations at those close to her.]

I mean, I don't really know you at all, so I can't say for sure, but... I don't think you are. Being inconsiderate, I mean.

I can't say I know your [She holds her hands up, making the quotation mark symbol with her fingers.] "friend" either, but being together and living together is different, if that makes sense?

[ Rapunzel doesn't mind the silence, taking the moment to reflect as well. She takes a moment longer after Angela speaks to consider her words, visibly digesting them before giving a reply. ]

I... think it does, actually. We live together now, but there's another person with us, a friend of mine. I guess the dynamic would be pretty different if it were just the two of us. So... something kind of like that?

[I don't mind backtagging (I'm in "essential business" retail while... world things are going on, I understand), but if you'd rather clear your inbox out, we can just say that they had a regular ass talk and it ended okay?]

[Angela definitely raises her brows a little at the mention of another person living there, but it sounded more like someone else was kind of a third wheel than anything too saucy.]

Yeah, I'd imagine it'd be a little weird with another person in the mix. Maybe they just need a little time to process this all, really.
