[ It's a girl with plaited hair who graces everyone's feeds with her presence today. Some may have seen her on TV already, though she's definitely more present on stage in the theatre. To those who know her but haven't met her since mid-February, she's matured by a lot. Anyway... ]

Do any of you use Demichroma? I'd like to point out that while it's not worth a lot with Chroma in the picture, it's still an invaluable resource.

[ The video doesn't seem to be in an apartment. It's more of an office setting. A man in a Moon Knight's uniform suddenly starts walking in the back. Weiss looks behind her and tries to tell him to go away.

AHEM. ]

With the right amount of Chroma added, you can use Demichroma to defend yourself. It helps, I think, that you shouldn't just rely on the magic you get from the Moons, if you don't have any other abilities to fight of your own. There's more trouble on the horizon, what with what happened last month, not to mention, that King Majestas which no one seems to have any idea of.

So, this is Demichroma with a little bit of fire, [ She shows a small red crystal to the screen. ] And this is what I can do with it.

[ A Glyph appears next to her when she summons it. Then she tosses the crystal into the Glyph backwards, where a beam of fire comes out and practically toasts the wall behind them. Said Moon Knight who had a cameo earlier starts extinguishing the flames. ]

I'd be happy to give more tips on how to use Demichroma in battle. Of course, if there are other uses for it that you think would be helpful, not just in combat, but you can use energy in so many ways. Let's exchange ideas.

[So. It's not often that Jotaro uses video, and particularly not during Sanguis, but it turns out that this post is just interesting enough that he's willing to ignore it. When he comes up on the feed, it's with a pair of black wolf ears and slightly sharper teeth than a human is really supposed to have, and there's an unusual glow to his already-green eyes, but that's probably fine.]

What do you mean, "the magic we get from the moons"?

[This is...news to him, to say the least. He's figured out most of the typical Sanguis bullshit (OR SO HE THOUGHT), but this seems like something else entirely.]

[ Duo looks skeptical, to say the least. He's read up on so-called Moonblessing magic, but this is next level. ]

So what do I do if I can't make glowing fireball launch circles? What's with the fire rock?

[ ... This is the first time she's been asked this. Maybe it's wrong of Weiss to assume that everyone knows what sort of traits one could end up having with their moonblessings. ]

Sanguis Moonblessed may end up being capable of using fire magic; Cordis Moonblessed can use ice; Iris Moonblessed can use electricity.

It's been a constant trait with me, and I've purchased something from the travelling shop to make my ice magic permanent.

It's a Glyph.

[ Why is she even correcting him, Weiss didn't mention "Glyphs" in her video. ]

It only makes launching the crystal quicker. It's the same concept. And the fire rock is Demichroma.

[Gosh, maybe he should've paid attention to some of the initial briefings about these things instead of FIGHTING THE DOCTORS and getting tranquilized out of his mind and. Yeah.]

And so what you just did there. You put magic into a crystal of Demichroma, and then you can throw that? What were those things you put up in the air?

I didn't use magic on Demichroma. I applied a small amount of Chroma to it to amplify its effect.

[ Hence the large amount of flames. Fully extinguished now, thanks to her fellow Moon Knights. Were it just Demichroma, it wouldn't have been as strong. ]

The Glyph was just to make launching it backwards quicker. It could have had the same effect without it.

[ But she likes to show off. :) ]

Okay...and that's something anyone can do?

[It's a shame he's on video or he'd be physically taking notes on this. Tragically, he's too cool to do that when he knows he's on camera. Maybe ten years from now, but not today.]

Sure. That's how it works for me.
You can't exactly make things appear out of nowhere, though.
That is, unless you're making an icicle appear out of nowhere.

[ She's really never tried with fire or lightning. Cordis has been her Moonblessing since she arrived. ]

If they learn how to use the energy they have in them. It's one thing to use Chroma to buy food or to heal a wound. It's another thing to use it in converting energy something more powerful.

[ PLEASE TAKE NOTES, GOSH... It's very important to be a nerd. ]

Anytime. It's called a "Dusklight Bracelet". It's why you can see some people with animal ears or tails even when their respective moons aren't out.

So how did you learn? Just from practice, or did someone teach you?

Books are a commonly overlooked source of information.

[ She could have said that a little better... Weiss clears her throat and tries a more friendly approach. ]

[Given his tone, there's a not-particularly-flattering epithet implicitly attached to the end of that statement, BUT YOU KNOW.]

Things like "magic" don't always come with instruction manuals.

Truth be told he's snappish and skittish and warm. He's sitting at home with his sleeves rolled up and staring at his hands.]

What kind of magic does sanguis have?

[He can do magic? What the hell? Indeed. What the fuck]

How do you do it? CAn you do it at the first of this weird cycle thing?

Oh how did you put the specific spells you wanted into the Demichroma? Could you, say, put a healing spell or some other spell in a Demichroma rock?

Not a lot of things here did. I had to learn by myself, otherwise I'd be left in the dark.

Even the Prismals don't know much about the occurrences behind the Moonblessed. I can't really rely on them alone when they're just learning, too.

[ hi weiss, it's this girl again. and she looks hype as hell. something about weiss looks--different? than before? but minako can't quite place it, apart from the hairstyle. ]

Whoa! I knew about some of the spells the Prismals could teach, but that's... [ the possibilities....! ] I hadn't even thought about using it in battle! Just about using Chroma to fuel my own powers. I've kind of neglected my ice magic, too...

Healing might work differently. You can heal others through Chroma, after all. It's not something I've tried through Demichroma.

You can find Demichroma crystals like these in various stores in Level 3. I only know what I've used, but Demichroma is harvested in its crystalline form. You can use a finer, powdered version, which is what I use with my sword at times. They're infused with elements, but you'll need a little Chroma to make their effects stronger.

I guess it's more "processed Demichroma" than "pure" Demichroma. Fire, ice, air, lightning are just some of the elements I've used with Demichroma. There are other elements for sure.

[ Oookay. Judging by Duo's deadpan delivery and puzzled expression, that is a word that doesn't explain much of anything to him... despite that matter-of-fact tone of Weiss's suggesting that it should. ]

Same concept as what? I can't even tell what it's doing, except blowing the thing up. And how'd you get fire into demichroma, anyway?

I rely mostly on demichroma, so any advice on how to maximize it's potential is appreciated. I was unaware we could use it for spell casting.

Is this a skill the more experienced moonknights are taught?

Ozpin is...a bit wary on replying but he finds that keeping to himself and not initiating things will do no one any good. So have one old man replying by voice with an approving tone. ]

As studious as ever, Miss Schnee. I've been curious about the magic here since arriving. But what or who, should I say, is King Majestas? And what sort of threat does he pose? [ This place seemed rather peaceful so he can't exactly see anyone wanting to cause harm.

And while he's on it he'll make note of the small crystal she uses. ]

It operates much like dust then? Rather fascinating the similarities. Is there anyway to combine two different elements together?
