[ It's a girl with plaited hair who graces everyone's feeds with her presence today. Some may have seen her on TV already, though she's definitely more present on stage in the theatre. To those who know her but haven't met her since mid-February, she's matured by a lot. Anyway... ]

Do any of you use Demichroma? I'd like to point out that while it's not worth a lot with Chroma in the picture, it's still an invaluable resource.

[ The video doesn't seem to be in an apartment. It's more of an office setting. A man in a Moon Knight's uniform suddenly starts walking in the back. Weiss looks behind her and tries to tell him to go away.

AHEM. ]

With the right amount of Chroma added, you can use Demichroma to defend yourself. It helps, I think, that you shouldn't just rely on the magic you get from the Moons, if you don't have any other abilities to fight of your own. There's more trouble on the horizon, what with what happened last month, not to mention, that King Majestas which no one seems to have any idea of.

So, this is Demichroma with a little bit of fire, [ She shows a small red crystal to the screen. ] And this is what I can do with it.

[ A Glyph appears next to her when she summons it. Then she tosses the crystal into the Glyph backwards, where a beam of fire comes out and practically toasts the wall behind them. Said Moon Knight who had a cameo earlier starts extinguishing the flames. ]

I'd be happy to give more tips on how to use Demichroma in battle. Of course, if there are other uses for it that you think would be helpful, not just in combat, but you can use energy in so many ways. Let's exchange ideas.

[ Duo looks skeptical, to say the least. He's read up on so-called Moonblessing magic, but this is next level. ]

So what do I do if I can't make glowing fireball launch circles? What's with the fire rock?

It's a Glyph.

[ Why is she even correcting him, Weiss didn't mention "Glyphs" in her video. ]

It only makes launching the crystal quicker. It's the same concept. And the fire rock is Demichroma.

[ Oookay. Judging by Duo's deadpan delivery and puzzled expression, that is a word that doesn't explain much of anything to him... despite that matter-of-fact tone of Weiss's suggesting that it should. ]

Same concept as what? I can't even tell what it's doing, except blowing the thing up. And how'd you get fire into demichroma, anyway?

It was sold like this, the Demichroma crystal.

The Glyph only made launching the crystal in the air quicker. With more Chroma added to the action of throwing, the end result could have been the same even without the Glyph.

[ Meaning, it would still have created a fire! ]

[ Sold like that, you say? Well, color him interested. ]

Okay, so. In summary, a fire Demichroma, plus the application of Chroma, equals explosions? If fire Demichroma is essentially gunpowder, that must be the mechanism behind that Chroma-based ammunition I've been hearing about.

[schmisse]

Yes, pretty much.

[ There are more applications to it, but this is what Weiss has learned. ]

When you incorporate crystal Demichroma or powdered Demichroma into your weapons, you could end up creating all kinds of things.

All right, next question: do I have to apply Chroma or would a spark do the trick to ignite it? I'm kinda new to this mystical invisible energy manipulation thing, y'see.

[schmisse]

Both would work. Chroma's just easier for me.

[ Uh-oh, Weiss just taught a teenage demolitions expert a new way to make explosives. There is a restless spark in Duo's eye that definitely says the gears are turning in there. ]
