[Video - Available to Both Moonblessed and Natives (even if there aren't any being played as PCs)]
[Didn't she just make a video today? NO. That would be her younger sister, and the keen of eye might even be able to realize there are hereditary similarities between the two. But there are differences also. For example, this particular white-haired woman appears much more...stiff. Even if she's not wearing her uniform anymore, her squared shoulders and lifted chin seem to scream 'MILITARY!' even in a soft and fuzzy gray sweater.]
Greetings. My name is Winter.
[Some of you might remember her all the way back from summer when she made a very detailed presentation on what types of moonlacing were and were not acceptable. This time, she's not asking for help. She's offering it.]
It has come to my attention that when we return to our worlds, we lose all memories of this one. It would seem that our actions do not matter.
[She drops her gaze for a moment, reinforcing her resolve to remain professional. Her emotions are starting to leak through just the same.]
But I would very much like them to, for the duration of my stay. Consider this an open invitation to seek my aid for any troubles you might have. If I am unable to render assistance, then I will help you find someone who can. The impression I leave behind will not be forgotten. I would have it be one of fond remembrance rather than hedonistic selfishness. I don't require compensation. I don't desire it either.
[Her jaw tightens, and her brow furrows.]
This is what I want to do. I am choosing it for myself. Seek me out if you have need of me, in public or in private.
That is all.
[Blip! And she's gone.]

[ He smiles. ]
This is really kind of you. Being remembered is nice, huh? There are a lot of people that I met that don't remember me... it's really very sad.

[What's with this person? His choice of words is unusual to say the least. At the very least, he certainly isn't 'forgettable'.]
Why is that?
no subject
[ :) ]
Why's what? Why is it sad? Because I had a lot of nice memories with the people and now they're over. [ Did he actually have any nice memories with anyone? No. He is lying; he's never been to any other world but this one and just messing around until this particular joke stops being funny. ]

[This seems like a common expectation of society, to lend one another aid and assistance when it is needed.]
That isn't what I meant, so I'll clarify. Why don't they remember you?
[It's a peculiar way that he said it that makes her raise the question. Most would say 'they were returned to their homes' or offer up some semblance of a reason. So she'll probe and see if it truly is an oddity, or if he simply has an odd affect to his manner of speech.]

[ :D ]
Well, I came from a world before this one, you see. I met people there and now here... they don't remember who I am. It's kind of how it works, it seems. Traveling through dimensions means that when you reach the other side, the people won't recall you or what happened in the world you left.

[She's brutally honest with herself in all things, after all.]
However, I disagree. Acting in the common interest of society at large is essential to the survival of a community.
[His answer satisfies, as she feels better able to understand.]
You came from a point in the future they have yet to encounter?
no subject
[ He claps his hands together -- applause, applause. ]
Not really. It is just that this society is a nice one so helping it out is a good thing. But that's just splitting hairs, isn't it? And I'm not one for intelligent talk like that... I just like wasting time with chatting.
[ Hisoka chuckles. ]
No. You haven't heard? There are people that got teleported to one world before they were brought to this one. They haven't been home for a long, long time... and the people that they met on the world before ... those memories and those experiences... are left in that other world for no one to remember.
Sad.

No--
[Wait. Didn't Emerald mention something of that nature?]
Wait. I do recall hearing something like that once. Understood.
[A beat.]
'Sad.'

[ He actually turns on the video so that he can give her some finger-guns, because he's impressed with her getting what he's joking around with. ]
Anyway, if you want to help me with something, there is a certain problem that I'm having. Will you take it?

What is the task?

Explain.
no subject
So, I was wondering if you could do that for me. The reason being... I want to fight them.

[The Sanguis moon is in the sky right now, he might be asking solely due to the lunar influence. She wants to make sure these are his true desires. If so, she knows a certain assassin's son who might very well leap at the opportunity.]
no subject
Okay.
