a'ight, so i talked to some people, and figured out some tech differences between worlds.

so i'm gonna ask this just to feel out how many worlds have similar techs with mine.

Well, giant robots are really common in stories where I'm from but they're not a thing in like, real life.

...so you live in what can be considered a 'normal' world, then?

Um, is any world normal, really?

...i mean. kinda? there has to be a world where none of these exist and they live a peaceful life, right?

[lightthedarkness]

Well, I'm sure they have their own struggles and things that make them interesting that don't... involve giant robots.

[impulsives]

oh true.

you don't happen to be from one of those worlds, right?

[lightthedarkness]

I am, yeah. We have witches and psychics and empaths and all sorts of magical beings.

damn, that's a 180 from the tech world i'm in.

[lightthedarkness]

Well, I mean, we have technology too! It's not like my world is filled with magic. We have the ability to go to the moon on spaceships. [And her own race and other races are vastly more technologically advanced but Earth's gone through a couple of dark ages.] We have computers and TV and video games. Just, ya know, we have people with psychic abilities too.
