two; a letter. ( un: sansastark )
[ so. floods. not a fan. sansa would very much like to never experience that sort of thing again. ]
My heartfelt greetings to all that are reading this letter. My name is Sansa Stark.
I have two requests to ask of those who might be interested.
First, That I may trade in my skills with the needle in exchange for private company, for reasons I will gladly explain at length, if required. Second, that those who are familiar with wolves and hounds may permit me to ask questions in confidence.
It would mean so much to me if I could be indulged in either of these two requests. My gratitude to those who have read this far, and to anyone who chooses to reply.

Force of habit, unfortunately. I was raised by my lord father and lady mother, and a septa besides.
And it more than counts, I think. That you become one. Do you truly mean that you become a wolf-man, when the Sanguis moon rises?
I'm looking for someone to moonlace with, as well. Under specific circumstances.

are you like a princess or something
i mean
i just meant
...
you don't have to feel like you have to
is just what i meant
and yeah
i have ears and a tail right now
also teeth
i guess some fur
it's weird but i'm kind of used to it
what are the circumstances

Not a princess, good ser. My father was Warden of the North, and friend of the king. I did meet a prince, once.
Perhaps you could teach me to speak plainly?
Ah, and would it offend to ask if I might see your state?

i'm just a guy
i'm guessing this place isn't anything like what you're used to, right
i mean not just the moons
but the city and this "internet" and everything too
i guess i could tell you how to sound like you're from around here
not that i'm an expert or anything
but i'm probably closer to all this than you are by a lot
also hang on a second
i can take a picture
[What he ultimately sends is essentially this, albeit with a more intense green to the eyes, and more short claws instead of nailpolish.]

[ this seemingly common practice of addressing one another so familiarly is going to trip sansa up a lot, she can feel it. ]
I will admit that this place has taken quite a lot of my patience. It's so much, all of the time, and the customs - when I think I understand them, something else comes along and convinces me that I don't.
Any help would be appreciated, even for the little things.
[ the photo - when sansa finally figures out how to view it - isn't too bad. the claws, the bright eyes, the pointed teeth - sansa memorizes these details, as one hand reaches up to her own mouth, a finger pressing the sharpened tip of her a canine. ]
Your present form. Is it uncomfortable?

most people are pretty familiar with me i guess
so i'm kind of used to it
anyway like i said i'm not really an expert
but i guess you could just try like
just write what you think without trying to make it sound fancy
what customs don't you understand
the wolf thing bothered me at first
actually more the way it made me feel than the physical stuff
the wolf just feels like...on edge all the time
i wanted to find all the things that were important and make sure nobody else touched them
and that they knew they were mine
stuff like that
sort of annoying to have to wreck a pair of pants making room for the tail though

there's an itch to bite. sansa doesn't much like it. ]
Being recognized so easily can't have always been a good experience.
[ sansa's survived much in part because the commonfolk doesn't know what she looks like, even if her clothes and speech often give her away. but that's for another time. ]
I think what's happened to you is happening to me.

sometimes people just decide they hate you because of who your family is
and not anything you ever did
but i guess that's just how it goes sometimes
[The cynicism is practically dripping, even from text alone. Regardless, there's something more important here to move along to.]
i guess that's probably pretty hard to deal with
i mean i wasn't really scared of it when it happened to me
but things like that don't really scare me anymore i guess
is there anybody who's an iris here that you trust?

[she learned in the hardest of ways how everything about her can be turned against her - her name, her sex, her prettiness, even her birthright. everything, marred one by one by people who knew how to play the game better than she did, a game she hadn't realized she had no choice in refusing.
it took her family away from her. it took her innocence, too.
trust, since then, has been hard to come by.]
I would like to try. To trust someone again.

all i know is really how it's been for me
but i have somebody who's iris and when sanguis is really bad that person makes me feel calm
i guess what i was getting at was, maybe that would help you too
or i guess you could work it out by fighting somebody
i've done that too
i guess maybe if you're a lady you might not want to do that
but around here it's not a bad thing for a girl to know how to fight
do you want to learn to throw a punch
