My mask was washed away during the flooding. If anyone comes upon it I would greatly appreciate it if they would return it to me. I will gladly recompense you in the form of demichroma, Chroma, or if you need anything sewn I can do that as well. I'm willing to negotiate.

[Simple and to the point, she turns off the feed without further ado.]

Who would label themselves a villain? [Hornet has encountered a lot of new and strange things in this world but this is the first time she's been flummoxed.]

...there are a number of craftsmen around from what I have seen. I know one in particular was looking for other people to work with--Miwako was her name.

[ Giovanni clears his throat dramatically, striking an incredibly goofy-looking pose for the camera. Hornet I'm sorry ]

Let me introduce myself: Giovanni Potage, Captain of the Banzai Blasters and MASTER OF EVIL!! Well, future master. I'm still working my way up the ranks. Gotta earn that true supervillain status, you know?

[Humans were weird. Was this some sort of joke? Was she missing something? What sort of fool would do something so theatrical as describe themselves as a villain? Hornet you ca be dramatic too.]

And what 'evil' deeds have you done?

[She barely even acknowledges the invitation, distracted as she is with....everything else.]

[ It's okay - Giovanni barely notices that she's skipped his invitation. He's too focused on puffing out his chest, preparing to enumerate his wicked deeds. ]

Oh-ho, what haven't I done? Just in the night before I came here, I broke into a museum, took two hostages, corrupted a child to the side of Evil, knocked out a lady with my Soul Slugger Doom Bat of Maximum Destruction, stole some kind of super-rare necklace, and stayed out past curfew! And probably did a little bit of loitering too, I don't remember. I'm a busy man.

And you do this why?

[Hornet has no idea why she's going along with this but Giovanni is certainly unlike anyone she's ever met before.]

Uh, because I'm evil? Obviously? Or if you mean the museum heist specifically, that was so I could steal some valuable artifacts to turn in to my bosses and get promoted! And I got one! So there!

[ He proudly holds up a cool necklace. It does look like it's worth something, at least. ]

[ He wipes what appears to be a genuine tear from his eye. Giovanni misses his boys. ]

Well, of course I have minions! A bad guy is nothing without minions to rely on! Don't tell me you're one of those lone wolf types?

I am not a "villain" so such things do not apply to me.

[ This bug... is a lady, right? Honestly, it's not super easy to tell. ]

Nah, it's their job description! Hard as it is to believe, I myself was a lowly minion until a few weeks ago. You move up the ranks, you get your own minions, they get their own minions... circle of life stuff!
