There is a bit of a matter that I would like to ask the public to help clarify. It's in regards to Jiang Cheng, er, Sect Leader Jiang. Or, maybe Jiang Wanyin. Whichever you might know him by.

If you don't know him, just remember that he is usually angry, only knows how to shout at people and is generally stubborn.

Now, with that in mind, does he resemble this cat?



A yes or a no is all I need. You see, he insists he does not, but I? I know better. Let's settle this disagreement with your dear opinions.

Jiang Cheng? He is my shidi, we grew up together.

I will confess my ignorance as to Sect Leader Jiang's temper, although as I said, he has been most civil whenever I have met him so far. Although... he did seem a little nervous upon meeting me, I assume because of the resemblance once again, but not outright hostile.

I'm surprised, but from what I understand he has softened quite a bit while here.

[After all, there was a time when he was torturing and beating anyone that had a passing potential to be Wei Wuxian back from the dead!]

But I am glad he has managed to make good impressions, and perhaps even make friends! He... was never really that sociable now that I think about it.

[It had always been him, he always talked to the people in town, talked to the people from other sects, made fast friends with whatever group was in front of him, Jiang Cheng was simply dragged along for the ride. Had that been wrong?]

I wouldn't go as far as to call us friends, but he is someone I would call upon if I had a spot of bother, I think. He feels quite reliable.

That is a closer step than I would have ever thought to happen. What is someone you can rely on other than a friend?

There are many people I would rely on for certain things, Young Master Wei, but that I would not call 'friend'. As it is, I dare not claim such a title from Sect Leader Jiang, and I do not believe he would claim it from me either.

Yes, but I doubt he claims that for anyone. He has never been good at it or seemed to care.

Well then, it might be best to let him decide. Although if you are family even if only of teaching and not blood, I would hope he does not treat you too badly.

Oh, on these tools, there is a way to find things like this. A man I spoke with showed me a directory of them.

Aren't they? I really need to explore it more. I wanted to take it apart, but, I don't think I have any tools to do that with.

maybe you could ask whoever makes them if they have diagrams? Someone must have put them together, after all. I admit to being less inclined towards those things so I haven't inquired.

Very true, they may not share them openly though. And even with diagrams....

Perhaps I can get a second one and take that apart.
