How can you make yourself fall out of love with someone?

Or better yet: how do you stop someone from falling in love with you?

It is! So far I've been two for nothing in love. How is that even fair!

I don't know if I would want to never love anyone. I don't really know what it's like for it to be a mutual love but I don't think I want to give up on that happening one day.

Anyway, I don't think it's your right to decide what other people feel, so the answer to the second question is: "you can't." But as for the first one...

...You can't. I think the most you can do is give it time, and let your feelings fade on their own.

Attachment like that is nothing more than a crutch that will make you weak in the end. I don't have time for that sort of thing.

And I'm not interested in the sort of person who could love someone like me.

And I tried that! I only decided it was "love" on a whim because it seemed interesting that way but now it's just gotten worse and it needs to stop because I despise it!

No, you don't. Are you even listening to yourself? You have every right to decide you don't want their feelings, sure, but you don't get to say that they can't have them at all!

I mean I said I loved her at first because she hated it and she made such nice faces when she was angry and it was exciting to watch her fluster and threaten me...

But she was never supposed to actually LIKE me!!

I don't think there's much you can do if someone ends up falling in love with you. You can either accept or deny their feelings.

However, falling out of love
that's a lot harder

Surrounding yourself with other people, friends, things you like to do, might help
It will just take some time

I don't see why it would be impossible... It feels like a sickness or curse and I've gotten rid of plenty of those before so I don't care what I have to do.

The only way I have to be productive I can't do while I'm stuck in this place.

It might feel that way but it is not. Things would be so much easier that way. There wouldn't be confusions, confessions, fear from rejection, self-discovery if you happen to like someone of your own gender. But if it were that easy, we wouldn't be able to grow either, as people.

Don't you have any hobbies you can do with your friends?

Why do you keep trying to bring "friends" into the matter to complicate this further? I don't need that sort of thing and it has nothing to do with the problem at hand!

So you're in love with someone? Why do you want not to love them anymore? Did they hurt you?

Because it doesn't complicate things if you wish to forget something. People, chat, and hobbies are a good distraction. It will become habit until the memory of the person you were in love with is just that, a fond memory.

Because I hate this feeling. And the idea of someone loving a person like me is revolting. I want nothing to do with it.

Getting close to others makes you weak. I suppose finding some way to distract myself couldn't hurt to try but the last thing I need are "friends".

I can't disagree with you on that point. Having people we love and cherish are easy points for others to strike at. But I can't agree with you completely either, because those same people help you go through difficult times.

And being stuck here, it's rough in more than one way.
