[Minako slaps her hands on the table, and her recording device shakes a little with the impact, threatening to fall over. She squawks and lunges for it to set it right. Goodbye, serious mood she was going for.]

[She settles back down after making sure the device is steady, then clears her throat and tosses her hair as if that little mishap never happened. It totally didn't happen, guys.]

So most of you know about Valentine's Day, or Coiled Hearts Festival...kind of the same thing. But did you know about the follow-up holiday of White Day? Lucky for you, I'm here to explain!

[She beams, helpful and chipper to the end.]

If you received chocolate from someone on Valentine's Day, this is your moment to return all of your affection and romantic feelings with a sweet for that special someone! The most traditional gifts are cookies and white-colored sweets, but sometimes guys will give jewelry, or flowers, or even white lingerie~! The sweets are definitely better if it's handmade, but you can go to the store if you have zero talent for baking.

[With the important information relayed, Minako leans back, shrugging her shoulders happily.]

And...I think so! Where I'm from, women usually give chocolate first on Valentine's Day and then men pay them back for White Day, but everything is way more open over here, so I guess that could apply to guys OR girls.

...You give out cards for this? Greetings?

Uh...I guess you could... But only if you write a good love poem or message that'll knock their socks off!

The key to a good greeting card is a simple message. Like.

So uh. My girlfriend's birthday is actually White Day.

[Granted he convinced her to choose that because it was the closest to what she would have had back in her world, but Minako doesn't need to know that!

Just know that Rin is kind of panicking now because shit, how do you make that extra special?!]

Well that's lucky, she gets double the presents. Triple if you're a good boyfriend!

[In other words, his attempt to garner advice has gone completely over her head. This doesn't seem like a problem at all to her!]

Ehh, see... that's just it. I'm not really sure what I should do for her and I'm kinda hittin' panic mode here...

This is the first time we're actually able to be together for her birthday.

[Which is no one. She was too broke for Valentine's Day, and thus, their kitchen was spared.]

But I might get chocolate from someone else, right? Who knows? Maybe I'll get some from a secret admirer. This place is supposed to be full of single people looking for dates, after all, so I'm sure the mailbox will be overflowing!

[Those are some mighty high hopes that will never ever come true. She waves her hand nonchalantly.]

Don't worry, though, I'll share with you. That's what roommates are for!

[ Duo isn't giving away any hints with that casual, good-natured smile of his. A little too casual, in fact...? ]

Well, naturally. [ He shrugs, the motion exaggerated enough to see on video. ] If I'd caught you making chocolates I woulda nabbed some, guess I missed out!

[ But he quickly shakes off his disappointment, and laughs. ]

Well then, I'm looking forward to all those goodies in the mail, too!

[His life was spared. Nothing good ever came from Minako's cooking. Only suffering. But she just laughs right along with him. They're just such good friends!]

[Maybe she should go to a bakery and get some cookies to 'secretly' stuff in her mailbox... Nah, no way, she's got to get at least one now that she put herself out there like this!]

If I received Valentine's chocolate, and I also gave the gifter Valentine's chocolate on the same day...
