Going into heat once per month is something I would prefer not to experience. It is debilitating, embarrassing, and more than a tad awkward.

Certainly. Hallownest is a kingdom full of insects, from moths like myself to caterpillars, beetles, bees, and the like. We also have the occasional snail or spider - not technically insects but certainly not human like yourself. It is currently being ravaged by the plague of an angry goddess.

The deceased ruler of Hallownest, the Pale King, stole the Radiance's worshippers from her and tried to have her forgotten. The Radiance's anger at him is justified, but bringing down his entire kingdom through plague and mind control is a bit much.

However, I can confirm that she has always been... what is it the youth say? "A bag of dicks."
