I'm still not quite used to the idea that all humans can even see me.

I had not met a human until I came here, and they are wildly different from the insects I have known.

Oh, wow. I can't imagine how weird that would be.

At least a lot of Malakhim look like humans, and even those of us who don't are still familiar with them.

Is that what you are, a Malakhim? I confess I was unable to distinguish you from a human being.

[it is actually killing me not to try to singularize that into Malakha but Grimm doesn't know Hebrew plurals]

Yeah. I suppose I can understand why you wouldn't be able to distinguish us, though some can also resemble animals. They're not, of course. But it's really interesting to me, because humans from my world would be able to recognize us on sight, should they see us.

That is unsurprising, given that they are likely more attuned to the differences between humans than I.

Hair and eyes are a good marker, physically, but people from my world can just tell.

I have heard that white hair is a sign of aging among humans, though I had not heard it used to determine species.
