[Somebody is looking, well she's still blue but! Her features seem softer, or at least more feminine than before.

Or it's just cause she's been away for a good while, who knows but she's in a good mood all things considered.]

So, hey. I was, I guess busy is the best way to put it? [Because she's not going to explain that she maybe kind of poofed and took a while coming back.] Yeah, busy. But things are cleared up and I feel like I... Missed somethings?

Alright then, I'll be right over.

[She hangs up so she can make her way out of her own apartment to head towards Ren's place.

It doesn't take her long as she knocks upon the door to let him know she's there.]

[Ren flashes a smaller smile and disconnects after her.

Knocking of course gets Tadashi barking excitedly, Ren's quiet voice urging him to calm a bit from the other side before he opens it.]

You are, indeed, in one piece.

I can do a little spin for you, if you want to be doubly sure about it.

[She says that with a grin on her face, as she stays at the door. No going into apartments uninvited after all.]

And you're looking fine too.

It would be nice to know I'm not just imagining things.

Well, I've been trying to stay out of trouble.

[She chuckles a little at that, but she does also do a quick little turn as well just to be sure.

At his mention of staying out of trouble she can't help but smile still.]

That's good, wouldn't want my favourite neighbour getting into anything bad.

Well, trouble does tend to find huntsmen, but this place is usually quiet.

[Usually save for the times it's not, but even with that it didn't seem like Lapis missed much.]

Do you want to come in? I'm sure Tadashi woulde love to see you.

Better then it being not quiet.

[Yeah surprisingly she didn't miss anything too big, thank goodness.]

And I wondered when you'd offer, Ren.

[She'll move to come inside, if Tadashi is nearby she'll happily bend down to give the dog pets.]

Well I can't let my favorite neighbor go back home without spending quality time with Tadashi. That would just be silly.

[And of course Tadashi is more than happy to see her, bouncing about with an excited bark or two. He's getting quite big but is absolutely still a puppy in all that energy.]

[His comment makes her blush, but thankfully Tadashi is so... Doggish to get her attention so she doesn't need to dwell on it, that and she basically said he's her favourite neighbour too.

So as she's petting the dog in an attempt to calm the puppy down a little, she'll talk.]

Very silly indeed, one shouldn't miss some time with such cute fellows.

[Ren is kind enough not to tease about that.

And he likes being someone's favorite neighbor. It's nice to actually be noticed.]

I'm certain he would pout for hours if I just let you leave without saying hello.

I didn't think dogs could pout.

[Is she serious or kidding? Hard to tell as she gives Tadashi a couple more friendly pets before turning her attention back to Ren.]

So... Really nothing happened at all?

They can. It's really pathetic. More so than a human pouting.

[Tada gets all huffy and lays his chin on the floor like the world is the absolute Worst and he is Suffering.]

... nope. Nothing at all.

[He totally didn't get his ass kicked by a possessed Sun Wukong, what are you talking about.]

[D'aww poor dog, Lapis will pay attention to him once she's done with his owner.]

... Okay, if you say so. But I find it a bit surprising that nothing happened at all in the time I was out.

[She only slightly doesn't believe him!]

Well, there was something...

[It is, and now the cat is out of the bag so he's not getting away from it anyway.]

I don't really know what caused it, but a lot of people started fighting against their friends. And I found out how much Sun's weapons hurt.

[She doesn't know who "Sun" is, and she has to stop herself from asking if Ren is okay because of course, he's okay. If he wasn't he wouldn't be here telling her things.]

I'm guessing things ended well, or else everything would be all messed up now.

A friend with a lot of skill and weapons Ren never wanted to be on the business end of.]

I did wind up in the hospital for a bit after, but I don't think anyone died? In any case I'm a little bruised still.

[He doesn't look banged up, but if he doesn't stop her she's going to start looking him over.]

[By some miracle, or just some really good dodging, Ren had avoided getting whacked in the face.

His stomach, however...

He lifts up his shirt slightly, showing some fading but still fairly dark bruising along his ribs and abdomen.]

[Don't mind her frowning, she doesn't know much about human bodies and such. Beyond her brief research into certain things. But she does know that humans are soft and easily damaged.]

Nothing got broken, right? You saw someone about it too?

[They are quite squishy. This is why Aura is such an important thing in Remnant.]

No, nothing broken. I got picked up after it was all over and seen to at the hospital.

[She's resisting the urge to poke one of the bruises, as she turns her attention back to looking at Ren normally now.]

Good, I'd hate for you to still be hurt because you didn't get help.

Aura does protect us but I'm not so stubborn as to ignore actual injuries.

[Well, when he's not raging at a particular Grimm that is.]
