[It's Atsushi! Without his glasses, and with his hair pushed back, and looking 95% more grumpy than anyone has seen the 'usual' Atsushi, but it's definitely him.]

My other half told me that I need to make more friends. [Speech patterns are definitely Inner's, but it may come as a shock to anyone who hasn't met him yet.] I don't care, but if it'll satisfy him I'll ask.

People willing to be sparring partners preferred. No one too noisy or annoying. If the other Atsushis don't like you then I hate you already, so don't bother replying.

[Outer would be upset if he actually killed anyone, so no, he's not going to do that. But he applies a bit more pressure, to draw a bead of blood at the sword's tip.]

If you consider that a threat, you really aren't cultured at all.

[ Ow, that's blood, he's bleeding. Again. Valmont tries to inch his head back, flattening himself against the wall as best he's able. ]

Prove it, then. Surely you have a copy or two lying around.

I have better things to do with my time than waste it on you.

[Yes, he does have some books around, but if Valmont wanted somebody to read to him he's talking to the wrong Atsushi.]

[ Valmont growls, but the sword's point is still pressing rather painfully into his chin, and he doesn't have all that many options. He can't get a hit in at this distance, and while he's still fairly sure Atsushi won't kill him, he's not at all confident that he won't cut up more of his face if provoked. And he needs that face. He uses it to look pretty. ]

Fine. You win, this time. Now put your blasted sword away before you do any more damage!

[Atsushi lowers his sword, which abruptly turns into a book in his hand. That's weird.]

You're dismissed.

[ Well, you know what? If he can have a cane that turns into a sword, he supposes it's only fair for someone else to have a book that turns into a sword. ...Somehow. ]

Tell your "other half" I'll be speaking with him shortly.

[ And so saying, Valmont gathers up the bottom part of his cane and beats it out of there. He's going to have Words with his preferred version of Atsushi, and they're going to mostly consist of "other you sucks."*
