[It's Atsushi! Without his glasses, and with his hair pushed back, and looking 95% more grumpy than anyone has seen the 'usual' Atsushi, but it's definitely him.]

My other half told me that I need to make more friends. [Speech patterns are definitely Inner's, but it may come as a shock to anyone who hasn't met him yet.] I don't care, but if it'll satisfy him I'll ask.

People willing to be sparring partners preferred. No one too noisy or annoying. If the other Atsushis don't like you then I hate you already, so don't bother replying.

Do you communicate with each other somehow?

We exchange notes. It's a little awkward sometimes to carry on a conversation that way, but it's the best method available to us outside of VR.

[VR is used for other things more than it is daily conversation. Ahem.]

Virtual reality. We can actually talk face to face when we're in one of those chambers.

That's helpful at least. It's good you can see each other sometimes.

It's nice. Notes are more convenient and all, but there are some things you really need to be physically present with someone for.

[Pay no attention to him suddenly turning pink.]

There are a lot of things that can only be conveyed in person.

[At times Wei Wuxian was incredibly observant, and others he was incredibly dense. The sudden pink of his companion was one of those dense times and he took no notice of it. He has no reason to question it or wonder why it suddenly showed up.]

Personally I prefer talking in person, or at least with one's voice. So much can be hidden through text.

Thankfully, he's a very straightforward person, most of the time. Neither of us are very good liars.

[If he knew that was a thing he would definitely call him out on it! Luckily his imagination for that direction has not been sullied yet.]

Even straight forward people can sometimes be difficult. At least, if they lack communication skills. I know someone like that. It makes a lot of things easy to misunderstand.

It's fair to worry about those sorts of things, and I've definitely gotten in trouble for saying the truth that others don't want to hear before.

I admire people who can be that forthright, without worrying too much about what other people will think. I could never do that myself.

Well, you have someone who can help you with it, right? So you balance out.

That's true. I'd be lost without him - he really is terribly important to me, so I want him to have other friends, too.

Well, he has an interesting way of going about it. But! I can't say it's wrong. Some of my closest friends I met by clashing swords first, even the person I married!

Well, it's true that you should share the things you love with your friends, isn't it? Even if it's fighting.

You can also tell a lot through fighting someone. It's a good indicator of skill and character.

What did you learn fighting him? If it's okay to ask.

He's very self-confident, he doesn't respect his opponents very well, he upholds his terms and he value's his well being.

[At least, that's what he was guessing. It was a bit different from going against another cultivator.]

That sounds like him. He doesn't like to get hurt too much because that's the same as hurting me too. And he's the only one of the Atsushis with any self-confidence at all...

That's interesting, to be so different from others who are similar.

[He doesn't think too much of there being multiple of some people, but perhaps for the wrong reasons. He had already met his own double, though their similarities were perhaps a little more than their differences.]
