so, i know that there are people here who are familiar with zodiac signs. but someone mentioned earlier that it was all fake and something created to "con idiots into doing things". i don't know how true that is.

does anyone else know much about that?

it's a pretty important part of where i come from but i hear from other people that the zodiac is more of a joke?

Well, it is possible that the stars and constellations might not have as much of an influence as they do in our world. But if somehow legends of ours reached other worlds, and people expected the constellations to have power but discovered they did not, people would disparage such talk, I think.

That does not make things a joke to us. Only to those who are not touched by them as we are.

Magazines and newspapers can sometimes blow it out of proportions just for fame, you know?
That's why most people don't believe in it.

But there are some people/things that can predict horoscope with crazy accuracy.

Assuming you're referring to the Chinese zodiac, it's the source of some of the most incredible powers I've ever lain my hands on. Rather impressive for a joke, I'd say.
