[ The video opens up to a mostly blurry pink screen. After a moment things come into focus to show the face of a young woman with pink skin and hair. ]

Um, I think I've done this right. [ She frowns, brow furrowing a bit before noticing it's she's recording properly. She smiles as she settles back from the camera. ]

So I was thinking of offering cooking and or baking lessons to those that would like them. I'm vegetarian so I can only teach you how to prepare those kinds of meals.

I'm not really looking for anything in return, though if you don't mind a little hand-holding or cuddling I would appreciate it. I also ask if there's anything, in particular, you want to make that you provide the ingredients yourself.

[ She purses her lips, thinking for a moment before nodding to herself. ]

[ It takes her a moment to end the feed. ]

[With him not being very keen on meat himself, the vieo piques his interest. However, he doesn't know what to focus on more: the pink skin or the vegetarian meals. Probably better focus on the later for now.]

Vegetarian you say? I dunno how to cook very well but I guess it would be nice to learn to save Chroma. [He can't keep eating out almost all the time like he's doing since he arrived.]

Anything specific that you know how to make?

Growing up my mother made sure I knew how to cook a variety of foods with what we had available, which was vegetables aplenty. If I were to list everything I know how to cook we'd be here a while.

Wow, you know that much? [Hmm... maybe her skin is all pink because she's some sort of non-human who lived a long time and had the time to learn a lot? Maybe that's the case.]

I would be interested in learning. Specially stuff you can make with tomatoes and cucumbers. [Those are his favorites after all.] Do you know any really good recipes with those?

[ He's partially right, though she's not very old.

She nods. ] Like I said, Ma-- Mother made sure I knew how to cook. And there are some foods I've made so often that I know the recipe by heart.

Both can be used in a lot of recipes, sometimes even in the same one.

I think I would like to learn. I... kinda been living mostly on snacks since I got here. I don't really know how to cook many things. [He can like... fry eggs? That's a skill right?]

Anh... Would it be too hard to teach someone like me who doesn't know anything?

[ Frying the perfect egg is pretty tricky. ]

As long as you're willing to learn it shouldn't be a problem.
