I . (text)

Has anyone as of yet read anything of worth from the Lunar Scientia? Since the vine issue seemed to take up most of our precious time, I have only been able to thumb through a few things regarding the city and its culture. I would honestly take any suggestions.

Except for any contemporary fiction. I've lost all faith in any present literature after having to see with my own two eyes award-winning titles such as: "A Knot To Remember", "Much Ado About Yiffing", and "My Lover, the Sanguis with the Big Chest".

I hadn't even thought to seek out a library, though now that you've mentioned what seems to be found...

...I'm a bit apprehensive.

( She's not admitting to knowing what "yiffing" is. All those damn soldiers and their internet scouring, always pranking each other. )

Is that really all that's to be found...?

( It's probably like two hours later when she finally responds: )

My, I did see "My Lover, The Sanguis with the Big Chest", but did you also happen to see "The Island of Our Deer-ly Beloved"? It has a racy cover but it seems to go into some non-fictional anecdotes about the moons. There's quite the reverence for them.

I suppose it explains why we're treated as kindly as we are, for having appeared there.

With the first ten pages, I would have said you made the correct choice. But I flipped further and it got rather interesting. Shall I go back for the copy to purchase? I wouldn't mind sharing it.

And I don't think it's truly so bad; I would much rather be treated with kindness than locked in cages and studied. There are far worse ways to handle the unknown.

( Right? Right. Let's not go there. )

I think the reverence for the moon and our visible traits linking us to them is rather auspicious to them. I would prefer they continue to think as much.
