( ordinarily, ginoza would never be caught with his image willingly on the network, but it's a special occasion, so. it's a selfie-angled recording, gino standing a number of inches taller than the woman wrapped around his middle — one angela ziegler — the two of them looking about as happy as can be. the image of a glamorous house is apparent in the shot, taking up a healthy portion of the screen. two dogs can be seen chasing each other around in the background every so often.

gino ducks his head, a little shyly, before huffing out a laugh. )

( it's a little bewildered, like he can't really believe he's making this post at all, but here they are. angie gives him a small tug of encouragement and he continues on. )

( a hand lifts off on angie's shoulder to point to the house. )

And we're having a housewarming party this triple moon to celebrate it. Everyone's invited. I'll attach the information in a text below, but — we'd be happy if you came and celebrated with us. ( he looks down to angie, questioning if he forgot anything — ) Oh. There's going to be plenty of food and drink, and it might be a good chance to meet new people. We hope to see you there.

I'll explain to him a little. We've cleaned it very thoroughly before moving anything in so it's about as spotless as it will ever be!

( This way Gino knows about the germophobia complications and the reason for his response; they'll still sitting next to each other in the yard, after all. )

I. I guess I could stop by... [ Which is probably a bad idea but he feels terrible after everything Angela's done for him, he could at least bring a house warming gift!! ]

( It seems like all the more reason to invite him over for the chance to enjoy himself a little; she'll give him a time so he arrives before anyone else and can head out when it started to get overwhelming, but she wants him to be able to eat and have a drink and feel comfortable as long as possible, before other people enter the mix.

It's the least she can do. )

[ Ah but does Shigeru think he deserves it? Totally not, but he knows it's rude to decline such an offer, even if he knows it's a bad idea. ]

( She knows; she'd been by to visit, after all, and has an idea of how badly off he's been of late, and all she can do is keep trying to initiate better habits and see him out from his flat without forcing his hand too terribly. That just leads to traumatic response. )

And no, you don't have to stay longer than you want. I'll be glad to have you over as long as you're comfortable, but I'm sure once people start arriving, it will get a little tricky for you.

How many...people are you expecting? [ Knowing Angela it was probably a lot. She was very popular, and nice, so he can't imagine the number of people being small... ]

( Honestly the buying process had been quite painless, and the packing and moving was minimal enough— more Angie's things than Gino's, since she opted to keep her flat, but she definitely brought a number of important things from the Sparda house she'd gathered over the last year with her and her wardrobe, toiletries— she left her flat about as it had been save some favorite coffee mugs.

Gino made it even easier with his demeanor alone. They were in no real rush and he always helped; it was novel, to her. She wasn't used to it. )

I'm thinking there may be something like 20 to 30 people, maybe. Not many more. The response to this post has entirely been people I know, and maybe anyone they may bring.

I would love to...cook for you both and for this too! It's...the least I can do for you. [ After everything that's happened, and the utter trainwreck his was at the beginning of the month, he's an utter disaster. So honestly making some food for a housewarming party is easy enough.

I...appreciate you wanting to spend time with me...still. [ Shigeru please stop putting yourself down!! Of course he knows Angela didn't mind it, but...he had almost crystallized and he put her on the spot like that. He was so embarrassed at how he acted, ugh. ]

Oh! I thought it would be more people than that. I guess I could...stay for a little while. At least until nighttime and it depends on...other things too. [ Like how bad his heat it and if he's entirely comfortable with being in it amidst all those strangers. ]

There's no dress code, is there?

You don't owe me anything, Shigeru. I always tell you this. But it just so happens I have a soft spot for your cooking and would be glad to have Gino try it as well.
