[So Rin looks a bit... different. Something has obviously happened to him, recently at that. He also looks incredibly tired and the background of his video shows that he's sitting up in a bed, teeshirt rumpled and that new hair a bigger mess than usual.]

Hey... everyone. Uhm. I know uh. I know Kohaku and some others were lookin' for me a few days ago. I went home for a bit.

[He really, really doesn't want to talk about it, but he figures he owes at least some bare bones explanation.]

'm back. Obviously. Not feelin' great, though. Niisan's Teppanyaki is still gonna be open but it'll be shorter hours for a bit.

[There's a long pause, gaze shifting off to the side at something.

Or maybe it's nothing.]

You can ask. I know people are gonna want to. But don't expect a big long wordy response.

[A pause.] Are you hard of hearing? I don't care about either of you two! I just found about the both of you by chance! [Lips curve to make-out what could be a smile, but she hadn't even noticed.] I just tend to keep my promises; it's a code of honor sort of deal. I said I'd help them, so I did even though the situation resolved itself.

[Though something did reign her attention in a bit. Two things. But one thing at a time.] So. [Noire hangs back.] I'm guessing that settles everything, right? [She asks, attempting to check on both Rin and Kohaku in her roundabout way]

If so, I have a question.

[Rin scowls at the viewfinder, absolutely not in the mood to deal with this tsun shit. Even if he wasn't exhausted and nauseated he wouldn't want to put up with it.

But to his credit, he doesn't snap, even though he really wants to. There's an edge to his voice but he still offers:]

[Social inexperience aside, she can read the room as well as the scowl dwelling in Rin's tone.

This expression sours her response just a tad, even though she realized she was in the wrong.]

Well. [Noire begins with a gravel tone.] I heard from Kohaku that you work at a restaurant of some sort. Am I right?

But the question does perk him up a little.]

I own Nissan's Teppanyaki on Crystal Beach, if that's what you're talkin' about. I cook there, too.

Well, well. That's interesting. It just so happens that the person you're talking to right now has a knack for cooking as well.

I know we're inherently strangers right now, but I do need a job. Demichroma is such an odd concept, but if you need a hard worker, then look no further. I'm damn good at keeping my momentum.
