[ The video flickers on, and there's a very pale, very fatigued-looking Archer sitting in his apartment. A dragon egg is also visible, nestled in a bundle of blankets next to him. (Is he nesting??)

In any case, he doesn't mince words. ]

Since we're all likely experiencing similar symptoms, I'll be brief - I'm looking for moonlacing partners, specifically hand-holding and basic physical contact. Anything more than that is subject to discussion.

[ He moves a hand, and just for a moment, it almost looks translucent. Or maybe, it's just the crystals staring to form on his skin. ]

[ With that, he ends the feed. ]

There's a small cafe in level 2 that isn't usually too crowded. Would that work for you?

[ It'll be about fifteen minutes, but Archer will be there. He has his egg with him in a sling he made himself, and while he doesn't know the appearance of the person he's meeting, he expects the other will recognize him from the video post. ]

[Xemnas does indeed recognize Archer, once he arrives at the cafe. He's carrying his own egg in the crook of his arm rather than in any sort of sling, but that's surely not too different. And in either case, he makes his way over to Archer without a second thought.]

I believe we spoke earlier?

[Even with his hood still up, there's no mistaking that voice.]

[ There is no mistaking that voice, but the hood is...an odd touch. He quirks a brow but refrains from commenting on it. ]

We did. I'm Archer. And yourself?

[It's a habit, for better or for worse. Plus Xemnas is well aware that there are people in the city that he's not entirely on the best terms with - while wearing his hood up does still leave him more than a little bit visible it avoids letting on that he's perhaps not at his full strength at the moment.

(Which is also quite possibly entirely unnecessary but still. It probably isn't going to hurt, either.)

Still, there's a nod, as Xemnas settles into a chair opposite Archer, gently placing his egg into his lap as he does so.]

[He removes his hood as he speaks. Concerns aside, he's not about to be so impolite as to not let Archer see who he's speaking to.]

[ Archer isn't in top condition himself, but wandering around with a hood raised is still...different. To put it mildly. ]

Xemnas, then. Do you want anything while we're here or would you prefer to simply begin?

[He'll have to take his gloves off, sure. But that's not any trouble either, although he'll wait to see what Archer has to say first.]
