[He's still not great at texting, so he had Gintoki give him some guidance on how to do some fancier technological things. He probably wouldn't remember how to do it again, but he manages a video broadcast that is hidden from one specific Lunatian resident-- Hashibira Inosuke. He's quiet at first, sitting with a silly grin on his face. He waves.]

I have a special announcement! It's my friend's birthday-- I'm sure at least some of you have met him. Hashibira Inosuke, the one that runs around without a shirt and wears a boar mask!

[He holds up a sign he's drawn crudely.]

I had someone teach me how to make this post so he can't see it, but it would mean a lot to me if you guys could wish him well today! He really likes food and fighting, so if anybody wants to wrestle a guy I can tell you where to find him. Be careful though, he takes fighting super seriously and is pretty strong! He'll mostly listen if you set rules though. I think. [He frowns.]

...if you find him and wanna fight, maybe tell me so I can make him listen, actually.

[Sometime in the day, Tanjiro seeks out said birthday boar. He's got two things in his hands, a little leaf-wrapped parcel of some kind and a larger square one wrapped in fabric. Wherever Inosuke may be and whatever he's doing, Tanjiro approaches with an absolutely stupid smile on his face, waving with the hand holding the smaller parcel.]

Inosuke! Hey, are you busy?

[boarishness]

<sub>[ Tanjiro happens to come across Inosuke in the more rural parts of the planet where there are less people, so that's where he'll find him.. uhh.. rutting his head into a tree repeatedly.

Before Tanjiro even speaks, Inosuke pipes up and pushes his chest outward, his hands curling into fists. Someone is coming his way and he wants to be ready!!

Then, Tanjiro speaks. ]</sub>

WHAT IS IT??

[He doesn't bother waiting to make sure Inosuke doesn't mind him coming up to him, just trotting right on up instead and holding out the smaller of the two parcels.]

[He purses his lips. That's... true, and he smiles, prompting him to take the parcel again.]

It is! I'm proud of you for remembering that. But today's even more special than just a Wednesday. Here, take this.

[ A man dressed as a clown magician literally applauds the young teenager's actions. His smile curls across his lips -- there is something beneath the smile, but overall, it is friendly. ]

I will most certainly wish him well today. Though, I wonder if he'll want us to call him "king" for his birthday. What do you think?

[There's something about Hisoka that is a little unnerving, and Tanjiro can't quite put his finger on it, but he smiles broadly anyway. Knowing that Inosuke had a fondness for important titles likely meant he'd met him, so...]

He might just! But don't do it too much, he might expect it always.

I think just saying it once might end up being too much.

[ He chuckles. Lifting his hand up, he presses it against his chest as he introduces himself: ]

Hisoka. I've taken quite a liking to that boar. I'm glad that he's made some friends that can watch out for him. [ Since that means that Boar Boy won't be killed anytime soon, and it means Hisoka can wait until he gets strong enough to kill.

Though, he pauses as he looks over the young man he's talking to. Hm? It's a careful stare before he's back to smiling. No, there isn't any trace of bloodlust. Must be a dud. ]

[Not a one. Tanjiro is like the most mellow, non-bloodlusty teenager there is, probably. Though he does frown in pretty solid concern over Hisoka's... everything, really.]

I've known Inosuke a long time, longer than we've been here. I'll do more than watch out for him. [It's a careful statement-- not accusatory in any way, not specifically threatening or challenging, but still a clear claim. He won't judge Hisoka outright, not this quickly, but he has the sense to be wary.]

[zutsuki]

[Then again, a moment later he laughs, and any trace of wariness or hackles raised from before is completely gone.] And you're right, calling him King even once might make him too much to handle.

[Noire would visibly cringe at the thought. She draws up her idea of how such a person would look. Her imagination leans to that of a wrestler-type with thick, coarse arms. Her face goes a bit pale as she pictures a bunch of sweaty men with animal masks as their arms tighten with a webbing of discolored veins that thicken along the circumference of the arm to accentuate their muscle.]

Yeah..? Are you sure he'll be okay with such a horrible piece of handiwork? Your friend sounds like he'd get mad over little things like that and lash out about if he's as much of a musclehead as he reads.
