Hello. We are attempting to conduct research for two ongoing studies of the moons and the affects they have on the behavior of the moonblessed. See below for respondent criteria and survey questions to answer.

STUDY #1: A study of how Moonblessed relationship dynamics and behavior are influenced by the activity of their respective moons.

SEEKING: Moonblessed currently in an exclusive or committed (even if not exclusive) relationship with another Moonblessed not of the same moon as them.

Interesting.
A lot of people seem to think they're going to end up Iris.
But I think you're the first who got there from process of elimination.

Would you say, based on what you know, that your ideal partner would also be an Iris?

I don't love it, but it makes the most sense. Assuming these things have anything to do with our personalities.

Probably, yeah. I don't know that I've met any Iris people yet though.

That's the other thing.
Everybody seems to assume it's a personality question.
Though I knew someone who assumed that based on those factors they'd end up a Sanguis.
And they turned out to be an Iris.

I also know at least one person who changed their moonblessing.
Which doesn't seem to correlate with a change of personality.

It's pretty complicated so far.

Could be. I guess it would depend on whether it's random or not. Like if it was ironic, you'd think somebody would have to be behind that, right?

You can change them? Like, willingly? I thought it was like, permanent.

Not willingly.
I don't know if anybody knows why it happens.
It's something to do with their chroma levels though I think?

I'm not sure, I'd have to ask the guy it happened to.

That seems like something more people should know about. Could it happen spontaneously? I'd be worried if it turns out to be a common thing.

Maybe you could do a study about that too.

Identifying a sample size might be hard since I think it's pretty rare.
And I'm pretty sure I'm going to have my hands full with this one for a while.
But yeah.
It's definitely worth looking into.

I don't think the people it happens to have any warning that it's coming though.
It just happens.

I guess it's random like a lot of things here.

Are you trying to see if people can guess their own moonblessing or something? Is there gonna be a follow-up next month to see if we got it right?

Yes.
And it's not really about whether people are capable of guessing.
Just looking for trends in how they answered before they knew and what wound up being the case.

Do people generally prefer one over the other? I can see why certain people would want to be Sanguis, but that's about it.

I don't know actually.
This is all just anecdotal but it seems like Irises tend to have a hard time.
Some of that is how the moonblessing manifests.
Some is that there's no break between Iris and the triple moon.

So where Sanguis and Cordis get kind of a breather, Iris is just eight straight days of being affected.

Also it's pretty uncomfortable from what I've observed.
I wouldn't want to be one personally I don't think.

Wouldn't be the first time the worst case happens to me. Guess I'll see how it goes.
