How many of you are aware that you're capable of using certain types of elemental magic depending on your moon?
More specifically, how many of you can actually properly use it without harming yourselves or others?

I'm aware that there's no status window within this world to check up on skills and what not, but that's hardly an excuse for a few of you. By this time more than a handful of you should have "awakened" in a sense.
If you're having a hard time mastering it, no matter how minor, I don't mind helping.

Mostly Faith, I guess that would translate to light magic?
I know some elemental spells too, mainly ice and lightning.

Light magic is rare.

Your body can withstand having three different types of elemental magic, though? That's pretty impressive. You'll have to give me a chance to see it in person.

It's kind of common where I'm from. People with a higher understanding of our religion and faith would have an easier time grasping those types of spells.
I think the same goes for elemental magic, too... knowing the different elements and how they interact would make it easier to understand the magical formulas.

But I don't mind showing you. I'm not sure what moon I fall under yet, but I don't have any fire spells, so it would be good to learn something new.

So it's something that you have to learn via texts or something?
Where I'm from you're given a set of specific skills and when you level up you can obtain new ones, so we don't have the luxury of picking and choosing what we can manipulate.
It's why healers are so hard to come by, too.

Since you're familiar with magic already I'm sure you can...
But a different practice won't make it harder for you, right?

Yes, we learned magic and combat back at the monastery.
Our professor helped with the practical application, but there were lots of books on spell casting and the different elements besides fire, wind, ice, and others.
Mm, I suppose you could say that certain people are predisposed to a particular type of magic.
Some of us excelled in Faith, but less so in dark magic.
I guess it's different for everyone... especially since we're all from different worlds.

I'm not sure... but, I won't know until I try.

It makes sense, if someone was capable of using all types of elemental magic that might be a bit OP. In that case I'm sure a few S-Rank's back home would consider them a monster.

[ Hyunjae in particular, but he'd likely want to keep them as a pet more than anything else. Immediately Yoohyun feels as if he needs to keep this person within his reach, if only because the sudden appearance of that man would complicate things. ]

From what I can tell it's only a minor form of manipulation, and since it's all chroma-based it shouldn't be too difficult to handle.
Have you familiarized yourself with chroma in anyway since you got here?

Even the strongest magic user I know back home mainly focused on dark and light magic, so I suppose that's something that won't change regardless of where we're from.
The S-Rank you mentioned, is that a title you can earn?

Yes, a little.
I've held hands? And shared a couch with my roommates...

Basically certain people "awaken"... And depending on the skills you get you're ranked, S being the current highest a person can hold.
