For me, yeah basically. Other Gems might do it for fun or a want to do it though.

I wouldn't put it like that, there are other Lapis Lazulis around and they have their own personalities and such.

And I'm from Homeworld, originally, but I live... Well lived on Earth before I ended up here.

So you've been to Earth, at least? It must be a different version than mine because I don't think I've ever met a gemstone before.

It's not like we Gems are very uh... Secretive with what we are, so yeah probably different Earths.

Maybe so. I never would have thought that there would be different Earths before I came here, but I also never thought I'd be on another planet, so it's been a very eye-opening past few weeks.

Being on different planets isn't a new thing for me, although I am pretty settled on Earth, and I find not thinking about the whole multiple versions thing helps a lot.
