[Someone has heard Rasha's voice, but for Don - well. Loving himself is pretty much par for the course.]

So back in my time we have this thing called the Mickey Mouse club. A whole bunch of kids who sing and dance about Mickey Mouse. He's got a song. Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me M I C - K E Y M O U S E And so on, and so forth. he's a talking mouse and he's Disney is amazing. He's pretty damn fantastic. He's not as great as I am but he's still pretty damn good. Where was I. Anyway this boy band thing for those who are curious seems like the Mickey Mouse club and all of you look stupid in your hats and T-shirts. No class. No style. Nobody has any idea what class or style looks like and the only thing you have to turn to is my era. We defined it. We peaked in the 60s. I'm at the peak. All there is to it, but I thought I'd provide some insight. Namely that. Children are dumb. And that's what this is.

[ Ah, very impressive indeed! Jim's a little more surprised by the actual text than the fact that Don managed to make it private, though. ]

Disney. I meant Disney. I mean Mickey is great. I actually enjoy him but I feel great. That band is really inspiring. And if this is some kind of illusion it's a hell of a lot better then me growing wings and murdering people.

I'm not a fan, so... yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's all bullshit and marketing.

[ Jim quirks an eyebrow on his end at that. Don's attitude today is funny, but still there's something clearly off with him. ]

[ With that he's shrugging on a jacket and heading out the door, stopping along the way to get a nice drink along the way. He knocks on Don's door and waits to be let in. ]

[Don Draper is not the most carved man. He's not a person who works out - normally. Here though he's sort of been forced to accept and seek out lessons that if he doesn't learn how to defend himself he'll probably end up dead. So he's a little more toned, a little more defined, and also in the process of buttoning up his shirt as he leans into the doorframe, hair artfully askew.]

I have an honest question for you.

You couldn't text someone from a telephone in the 1960s though. The best you had was a telegraph and that was still nothing like this.

Mass psychogenic illness, or mass hysteria, is the rapid spread of symptoms among a group of people for which there is no somatic cause. Basically, a whole bunch of people are acting strangely but there's no bacteria or virus or other agent causing it.

[ Well, it is quite the sight to have when the door opens, so he wholeheartedly supports this plan of Don's to exercise and practice often. His eyes drift down for just a moment, then he looks back up, smile wide and just shy of becoming an actual grin. ]

I'll try to give an honest answer.

Oh okay I get it. A fanclub around cartoon characters makes a bit more sense and is a LOT less creepy for kids to obsess over.

[He gestures, beaming. It's his million dollar smile and even if people aren't into it - it might draw the eye. It might be sharp. He's famously good looking as he orders two shots to go, setting one in front of Finn.]

[He gestures, throwing back the shot when he does before moving to pull him to his feet. When they're there - arguement or otherwise, he gestures.]

[He gestures.]

Hey. Back home people have seen my work across the world. My work is on billboards. Clearasil, Platex, Folgers, Kodak. I approve all of it. I supervise it and we put it out. It's not the same league. We're equal in different fields. Now I gotta know the worst. I mean you can't leave me hanging like that.

[He spins.]

Women have spent my whole life telling me that I'm handsome. That I'm gorgeous - I've gotten pretty too.

I've never heard it from a man. I want to know how I look. I want to understand how...men see this kind of thing.

[societal queues are powerful as hell though and he looks a little shy.]

And then. I think I want to listen to you tell me how great I am while I make you scream my name.

Yeah. As his agent. It'd be an easy sell because he's amazing.

[Don snorts. But then he reads it carefully.]

...Can that thing be inspired by people? use it to make people believe one thing?

Oh yeah no. My kids love him. I had to buy them both the toys. Stuffed dolls. Minnie dress.

[Disney.]

He's a human. He just has a hard on for barnyard animals. I grew up on a farm I've never seen the appeal.

I'm in marketing. I know good marketing when I see it and so what? If it's good it makes the client money honey.

[he shakes his head]

Try to think of what this reminded me of. Mickey Mouse Club was the closest
