[ There is the sound of a party horn. ]
[ That's it. That's the entry. Aren't you glad you clicked? ]

Warmer :')
But not in the building.
I've said too much!

[Head lifted, Midna scouted around quickly. Surely to the objective eye, it would look a little silly. Or at least incredibly transparent that she was looking for something.
So perhaps somewhere in the same area. What was he doing—shopping?]
On the contrary, you never say enough for me to find you. Just enough to whet the appetite, as it were.
no subject
Look... over water.
And now really mustn't give more of the game away, lest I wish to give up my coat!

[The water again. That was among the first things that he had made mention of.
Either way, eventually she made her way toward the nearest body of water, thinking the chicken and its store to be a memorable landmark, if anything.
Holding her device to her protectively, eyes narrowed as she sought him out.
Where, o' where, could Ardyn have been?]

On the bridge, Ardyn's shrouded shape could be seen. He was leaning over the side, looking down into the water, his wrist shining with the messages he was sending to Midna. ]
I can hardly give you it if you can't find me, now can I?
no subject
Her ears twitched ever in thought and when she took note of his... Well. Solitude? It looked like solitude. Brooding perhaps?
Deciding it was too much effort to simply walk the entire way (not that Midna was ever much a walker, she floated right across the way to get a closer look at him. And for a moment, she thought about messaging him once more. Instead, she waited until she was actually in his physical presence.]
Found you.

Ardyn smiled indulgently and leaned up. He sighed and started to remove his coat. ]
You did. And with not a stitch upon you. Here. Let me warm you up.
[ He held the coat out for her to slip on, not letting go of it. The invitation was plain. ]
no subject
Offering him a coy smile, she gradually made her way to him.]
I did say I would come in nothing to find you. Did you think I was teasing?
[If he did, he wouldn't have been far off the mark. Midna had certainly developed a reputation for that kind of thing.
She turned just so to snuggle into his coat, didn't bother to use the sleeves.]
What are you doing out here?
no subject
Sometimes I enjoy a peaceful scene. This is one of the most pleasant ones, wouldn't you agree?
no subject
It's pretty. [Buzzing aside. But it could be worse.] Do you come out here often? I thought maybe you were trying to brood. But if that were true, you probably wouldn't have humoured me.
no subject
[ Lunatia, with its bright lights and constant closeness, did not offer much of that. Sometimes, he just liked to be by himself, a man out of time, doing something simple like watching the fish. ]
But I do enjoy spending time with you, also. Therefore, I'd hardly turn you down.
no subject
I feel quite the same. If only I could spend more time with you, but then I'd be disappointing my other adoring fans.
[And that... is not entirely true. Midna doesn't quite make it a point to go be up in everyones' business as much as she used to and surely that has something to do with becoming quite comfortable where she's at.]
You'll just have to take me when you get me, Ardyn.

[ Once again, he didn't know if he wanted to kiss Midna or not. It seemed almost fitting that he should, and yet he also felt that it might ruin the mood entirely.
He felt so comfortable around her, in a way that the traps of this shiny, rotten place didn't make easy to exploit. It wasn't a sensation he was used to.
It was almost like... where once Aera had been a ray of sunshine to bathe him in light, Midna was gloaming veil, to smother the light that would sear him. The young, puppy passion of the brightness had been burned away, allowing the gentle glow of comfort.
Or maybe he thought to much of it, and he simply liked being around a beautiful, sassy woman who also enjoyed staying out of the sun.
He laughed, and raised her hand to his lips to kiss the backs of her fingers. It allowed a little Chroma to spark between them without being too much one way or the other. ]
But enough of that. Did you have something in mind? Shall I be treating you, once more?
no subject
Undeniably charmed when lips pressed against her fingers, she did nothing to hide the smile that crept into her features, right up into rubied gaze.]
Is there ever a moment I don't want you to treat me? [Midna laughed and only when she thought it wisest to do so without otherwise moving him, she drew up her other hand and drew touch along the line of his jaw, marvelling at its structure and his very composition. A man somewhere between handsome and beautiful, she thought. She'd thought it many times, but she didn't oft go handing out compliments.
Either way, it seemed that attraction still remained. And perhaps she was a glutton for it, but there was something about a potential tension that lingered in the air and she enjoyed it a great deal.]
Why don't you take me on a date. It doesn't have to be for food. You don't have to buy me anything, though I certainly wouldn't object. I'm just interested in your presence. And maybe an excuse to touch you. To be touched by you.
