Good day.

I'm a senior high school student, supposedly, prior to being whisked away here. I understand that it's the middle of the school year, but I was hoping to enroll have some sense of normalcy. Are there any of you here who are in the Academy, and are around my level? I'd like to know the culture, where the hangouts are, amongst other things. Do inform me. I'd hate to be the new kid in campus who knows nothing.

Or if you'd like to dissuade me from enrolling, I don't mind... I'd just like something to do in this place.

While I'm here... is there a pattern to what moonblessing people receive? I don't seem to be affected by the Sanguis moon... You'd think it this world would play on opposites, but apparently not.

So? What do you think of your own moonblessing?

I’m afraid I do not attend any classes, so I cannot speak to what that experience would be like. If nothing else, I hope that you are still able to enjoy them!

As for my moonblessing, I often find myself waiting until much later into the month. The moon is a wonderful shade of purple then—do go and see it if you have the opportunity!

I hear the other moons are quite beautiful, too. I have faith that, whichever one has blessed you, you will be able to take comfort in that much at least.

I cannot say I much enjoy them, unfortunately… The fever is perhaps the worst of what the moon inflicts, but I have grown antlers and ears in the past. Freckles, I believe, too. They were so oddly colored, I thought perhaps I’d come down with some sort of pox! Rarely are these changes consistent between cycles, however. I recall not having antlers some months, or having a tail on others…

You become feverish? I hadn't read about that, but that sounds concerning. I'd hate to be sick for almost a week every month.

But there is yet the possibility you may be influenced by the blue moon! In my experience, it tends to affect one’s appetite. My friends are rather fortunate in that they do not often grow teeth or tails and such. Oh—but one of them has previously grown ears like a cat’s! And they were ever so soft!

I read about it. It's something for Moonblessed only, and those who are closer to one another generate more Chroma compared to strangers.

It's nothing to commend me for. I just tried to learn what I can as soon as possible. I needed the money to get by, after all. And to buy boyband merchandise, apparently.

I was as well, embarrassing though it is to admit… [ Can you blame her, though? They don’t have boy bands in medieval fantasy land, you see, and Kaya was so very enchanting! ] Blessedly, I remain unharmed, but I was there to tend to the injured amidst the riots. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a commotion quite like it.

You and me both. I didn't think people could get that crazy over music.

Or... cults, apparently. It's all still weird, but some people seem to believe it's just a small thing and a bigger issue will take place soon.

While I would like to remain optimistic, I understand their concern. The cultists, to the best of my knowledge, were thought to have vanished. Their resurgence cannot bode well for us… I am praying for everybody’s safety, whatever the case may be.

There's the matter of keeping people safe, too. A lot got hurt the past week... I hope the Moon Knights can afford to fight stronger foes incoming.

I should like to think we won’t need to resort to violence. It would be dreadful were anybody else to get hurt.

Could we not try to negotiate with them first?

Sorry about that. My thoughts just went to fighting right away since that was what happened the last time.
