Good day.

I'm a senior high school student, supposedly, prior to being whisked away here. I understand that it's the middle of the school year, but I was hoping to enroll have some sense of normalcy. Are there any of you here who are in the Academy, and are around my level? I'd like to know the culture, where the hangouts are, amongst other things. Do inform me. I'd hate to be the new kid in campus who knows nothing.

Or if you'd like to dissuade me from enrolling, I don't mind... I'd just like something to do in this place.

While I'm here... is there a pattern to what moonblessing people receive? I don't seem to be affected by the Sanguis moon... You'd think it this world would play on opposites, but apparently not.

So? What do you think of your own moonblessing?

I didn't know we could enroll as students! I guess I was too busy exploring everywhere else. Attending alien school sounds fun, though, so if you decide to enroll I'll do it too. We'll both be new, so we can split the awkwardness, ha ha!

I got the Sanguis one too. I get a couple of fish traits, but I can't breathe underwater. I had to learn that the hard way. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Some people switch, too, though I've always had the same one.

It's okay! It makes me kind of bold, and brash. I'm less worried about what people think about me. And I get really gung ho about sparring in the gym!

Fish traits as Sanguis... Do you mean fins and scales? Does that mean you have to stay in water the whole time, even though you can't breathe underwater? Though I suppose you can't go to the gym if you're constantly stuck in the pool... How unique.

Just fins! They show up under my arms, and my hair gets extra colors that looks like a koi's too. So you don't have to worry, I'm okay!

If you do wind up with a trait that makes it hard to wear your clothes, let me know. I can do sewing alterations for tails and things like that.

I'll have to keep that in mind. Knowing my luck, I may end up needing your help. I suppose I'll find out in the next coming days.

People are saying Iris is the Moon that gets the worst moonblessings, so here I am hoping I'm a Cordis.

Oh no, Iris is a great one! You don't get static electricity shocks if you're Iris. It's also very comforting to be around people with the Iris moonblessing. They're nice, and good listeners, and it's easy to relax around them because it feels like they really care.

I think whichever one you get, you'll have something to like about it.

I guess there's some good to it, too. Being in heat seems so embarrassing though, don't you think?

Hmmm. I guess if you're not used to that kind of thing, it would be difficult to adjust. I wouldn't think badly of someone because of it, though. Maybe I'd even be a little envious, if a person can express their desires so freely.

Still, I think I'd prefer to be Cordis than Iris. I don't think I could ever express myself freely, to begin with. It's just not in my nature to do so.

I hope you get that one, then! Having a higher metabolism means you get to eat even more, so you can try way more different kinds of new food without having to feel full. I wouldn't mind being Cordis either! Let me know when you find out.

Me too! It has a mysterious history. And visiting the moons is amazing! I always wanted to be an astronaut, so that's one more thing I can check off of my list of things to try someday.

Considering you can easily travel to the moon, I think being an astronaut here is easy.
