How do I become Iris? Do I need to pray to the moons or something like that?
I know some people have changed their moonblessing.

Does anyone know? Asking for myself, not a friend.

would you want to swap into Iris?


It's unpleasant. It's messy. It's humiliating. You go through so many blankets. Nothing scratches the itch. Don't wish for this.

That seems to be the general consensus, from what I've seen.

But isn't that sad? There is a whole group of people who see their moonblessing as a curse! Why do people under the Iris moon suffer so much? I'd only seen the positives from my own experiences with friends, I had no idea they had to deal with so much!

We all suffer somehow, in fairness. It's a boon and definitely helps us achieve our actual goal of helping the Prismals (though as to the success rate on that, lately...Hm!), but I'd rather just go about making friends normally than worrying about orifices leaking.

Trust me. No matter how easy it makes things, nothing is worth trying to do your shopping during Iris and completely ruining your clothing, or having to do the hugest load of washing from all of the blankets you've ruined.

Or is there some other positive that your friends have that perhaps I haven't had the chance to experience? Lucky them, in that case.

I see. So you feel the boons aren't worth the costs? It seems to me like women have a similar problem that they manage to deal with, once a moon. Has no one come up with a solution for Iris Moonblessed?

I hadn't considered it, but perhaps women are just better equipped for it...? The Iris I know is a woman and she hadn't complained about anything like that.

If there's a solution that isn't 'stay indoors with your husband for a fortnight straight' then I haven't heard of it, no. I also can't speak for women, unfortunately!!

But then, you also clearly have a higher tolerance for embarrassing topics in general than I do, too. So you might take to it with aplomb, if you end up catching Iris' eye! I only wish you good luck on that, and advise you to stock up on blankets and clothing you don't mind ruining.
