I've enjoyed it quite a lot myself, too.
And maybe that can be "your thing"— the more you ask of the Prismals, the more they seem to pick up on what we like and try to provide it.
I have them making German sausages just by explaining the usual spices and meats blended together, and found the right cheeses.
They're trying. There's little to be done about our situation, so they're at least appreciative and trying to make us feel welcome.

i think my fave from the taquerias is sopa
but if were talking home-home
feijoada
a good hearty stew with beans, beef, pork and all the flavors i grew up with
one of the more common poor people meals but its really filling and comforting
