Oh! Well, if I'm being honest, it's not really "healing." It's an ability to restore someone, or a part of something, to a previous state before it was damaged or destroyed.

"Healing" is just easier to say, right?

I see...you're right, it's a much quicker explanation that way. I just ask because I'm trained in more, um, traditional medicine. The best I could do was keep it on ice and try to get them quickly to a surgeon.

That's an amazing skill to have either way. Does it just work on people?

I'm not really sure. It works on spirits. And it seems like clothing gets repaired too, when I use that ability on people. Sorry, I don't really know much about it! I only met one other person who had similar skills, and I've had mine for about...a year now? Yes. I'm still training to find my limits.

Well, just a medic. First aid and field medicine.

So it's more of a regenerative thing...that's okay. Only a year isn't a lot of time to get a handle on such a big power! That must mean what you meant by training, right?

That's right! And to be honest I haven't been training much at all since I got here. With moonlacing being able to heal people, there's really not much use for abilities like mine.

Oh, but field medicine. Are you a soldier?

A police officer. My training's in chemistry, though, so I serve as field medic. What about you?

I'm just a student. I might take a part-time job soon, though!

Getting your education's an important job too! Make sure it doesn't affect your studies.

What sort of job would you be looking for?

I'm not really sure. There are so many fun options, I haven't been able to decide. I wish I could work all of them! But I'd like to run a cake shop, or teach, or be an actress, or a Moon Knight, or pilot ships or giant robots, or be a master of donut crafting in Amegahara... Choosing just one is impossible.

You could always try some of the ones that are easier to get into and see how it feels? I know I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to do, too.

A couple of months now. It's going all right...something seems to pop up regularly to disrupt regular life, but I've got a job and a few friends now. Things to do with my time.
